We freely receive healing from God, so don't put a price tag to it. Freely receive, freely give.
People who are not freely giving are people who don't know that they have freely received.


Praying in Jesus' name means seeing yourself as His beloved and seeing yourself as deeply loved by Him.

Joseph Prince is not preaching the message of grace - He is preaching the gospel of grace! The gospel is the church's weapon!

The faith that pleases God in the New Testament is seeing God as love and as Savior.

Pontius Pilate was hoping that the people would choose to free Jesus, but they chose Barabbas the robber and murderer instead.
Barabbas' name means "Son of the Father". The true Son of the Father, Jesus, was standing next to Barabbas.
Jesus died so that we could also become sons and daughters of the Father.
Judas delivered Jesus up to be arrested and he was a thief.
Jesus said that "those who come before me are thieves and robbers".

"It is more blessed to give than to receive" is talking about the horizontal relationship between man and man.
With God, it is more blessed to receive from Him. We are bankrupt in contrast to God.


Matthew, Mark and Luke are synoptic gospels. John stands in a class of its own.
The Father deems fit for Jesus to have four stories of His life on earth.


Hebrews 10:18-20 - We cannot offer anything as a sin offering. It all falls short.
Jesus' death at the cross is the only sin offering that makes the cut.
The word "boldness" means freedom of speech. We can speak freely before God without fear.
The word "new" means freshly slain, as if Jesus just died for us just now.
When we come to God (by spending time in the gospels), our youth and strength is renewed and we get healthier and healthier.
The veil stands on four pillars - the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The veil is Jesus' flesh. His flesh was torn for us to make a new and living way for us.


Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭10:18-20‬ ‭NKJV‬)

In the Tabernacle, the veil is hung on the four pillars. The veil has four colors on it -
Blue (Heaven - Represents the Gospel of John),
Purple (Royalty - Represents the Gospel of Matthew - Jesus' genealogy and right to kingship explained),
Red (Man - Adam's name means "blood man" - Represents the Gospel of Luke),
and White (Represents the Gospel of Mark)


The cherubim have four faces and it's always consistent - the man, the lion, the ox and the eagle.

Don't travel through life at the speed of your age or at the pace of the world. Travel with the rhythm of grace.
The faster you try to go, the 'behinder' you are. Pull back and you will go far.


A key to studying the Bible: The key hangs on the door, not hidden somewhere.
The first few verses of a book in the Bible will give you the right perspective on how to read and understand that book.

​Matthew 1:1-6 - These four women don't have good repute, but their names are included in the genealogy of Jesus Christ:
Tamar - a story of being chosen.
Rahab -a story of salvation.
Ruth - a story of redemption.
Bathsheba - a story of royalty.
Their stories put together is our story: We were chosen, saved, redeemed, and made royalty by God.


“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham: Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers. Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram. Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon. Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭1:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The book of Mark (the gospel of the Ox) shows Jesus as a Servant.
There is no genealogy mentioned in the book of Mark because you don't ask a servant for his pedigree.


The book of Luke shows Jesus as a Man. He is shown in it growing up as a boy of thirteen years old.

The book of John is the Gospel of the Eagle. The eagle flies higher than any bird. The eagle can see further than any bird.

Every leader must have the four faces: Lion (the King), Ox (the Servant), Man( the Man), and the Eagle (Man of God).

Reading the Gospel of John will renew your youth - God renews our youth like the eagles. That's the heavenly clue that God left for us.

Matthew 1:23 - The Gospel of Matthew begins with saying that God is with us.

““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Matthew 28:20 - The Gospel of Matthew ends with Jesus affirming that He is always with us.

“teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭28:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The Gospel of Mark begins with Jesus going around performing miracles, casting out devils, healing the sick, getting baptised, etc.
It shows Jesus as being very busy serving.


Mark 16:19-20 - The ending of the gospel of Mark shows Jesus the Divine Servant still "working with them" - He is still serving.

“So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” ‭‭(Mark‬ ‭16:19-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 1:5 - The Gospel of Luke begins with Zacharias the priest which represents the Levitical priesthood. It is the priestly gospel.

“There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 24:50-51 - The Gospel of Luke ends with Jesus our High Priest blessing the disciples under the Melchizedek priesthood.
He was "parted from them" while blessing them, showing that Jesus didn't want to leave His disciples - He loves them!


“And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:50-51‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The Gospel of Luke ends with Jesus our High Priest blessing the disciples under the Melchizedek priesthood. He was "parted from them" while blessing them, showing that Jesus didn't want to leave His disciples - He loves them!

​To see God in His love is not natural. That is the mark of someone's spiritual maturity.
What is natural is to see God in His holiness and be fearful. The first time Peter met Jesus, he was fearful when he saw the miraculous catch of fishes.
He saw Jesus in His holiness (and his own sinfulness).
After Jesus died and rose again and Peter was restored to Jesus, he jumped into the water to go to Jesus.
Peter grew spiritually. He now saw Jesus in His love.


John 1:18 - The Gospel of John begins with the bosom (breast). Jesus always lives in the bosom of the Father - in the love and presence of the Father.

“No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.” (‭‭John‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John 21:20 - The Gospel of John also ends with the breast which represents love. The gospel of John is the gospel of love!

“Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?”” (‭‭John‬ ‭21:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John 20:30-31 - What is the purpose of the Book of John? The gospel of John is designed to create faith in you.
The Father specially chose these miracles, signs and works of Jesus to be included in this gospel for you.


“And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭20:30-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jesus leaves the best for last. He saved the best wine for last at the wedding in Cana.
That speaks of the end time generation - that we are the best generation in terms of God's giftings.
Jesus is the Lord of time - Wine takes a long time to be made, but He was able to transcend time.


You want grace? God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
Grace, like water, always finds the lowest point and flows to it.
Before destruction, the heart of man is haughty (full of pride). Never let what God has blessed you with become a source of pride.
Look at self, and you'll be depressed. Look at Jesus, and you'll be at rest.


John 18:12-13 - When they came to arrest Him, Jesus said "I AM" and the 1000 soldiers fell to the ground. That's power!
This is the only place which says that Jesus was bound.


“Then the detachment of troops and the captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him. And they led Him away to Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas who was high priest that year.” (‭‭John‬ ‭18:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Genesis 22:9 - Jesus is the true Isaac!

“Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.” (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭22:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Exodus 30:22-26 - The myrrh represents the Gospel of Matthew [500 shekels (Matthew: Purple) = 250 shekels (Luke: Red) + 250 shekels (John: Blue) ]
The cassia represents the Gospel of Mark.
The olive oil which is a picture of the Holy Spirit, represents the Book of Acts.
The four gospels and the Book of Acts together form the holy anointing oil!


“Moreover the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “Also take for yourself quality spices—five hundred shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much sweet-smelling cinnamon (two hundred and fifty shekels ), two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling cane, five hundred shekels of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil. And you shall make from these a holy anointing oil, an ointment compounded according to the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil. With it you shall anoint the tabernacle of meeting and the ark of the Testimony;” ‭‭(Exodus‬ ‭30:22-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Stop looking on the internet for your disease and its symptoms. Read the four gospels and receive your healing from Jesus!

John 19:30 - Jesus did not die from the pain of crucifixion - He died when He gave up His spirit.
Jesus was not killed, He laid down His life!
The last thing Jesus did before He died was to worship.
The bowing of His head represents worship, surrender to the Father, and rest.
Jesus finally found His rest after His work was finished. He found His rest in loving us.


“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.” ‭(John‬ ‭19:30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Genesis 24:26 - The first mention of bowing of the head which represents worshipping God.

“Then the man bowed down his head and worshiped the LORD.” ‭(‭Genesis‬ ‭24:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The last thing Jesus did before He died was to worship. The bowing of His head represents worship, surrender to the Father, and rest. Jesus finally found His rest after His work was finished. He found His rest in loving us.

The good thing about reading the Bible is that you will have assurance from God's word.
Jesus said that Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will never pass away. This world will not end in a nuclear holocaust.

Jesus will come again and He will set things right. He will not let this world go down the tube.

Watch what you focus on. The Bible says a good report makes the bones fat and that a merry heart does good like medicine.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life. Complaining and murmuring can lead to sickness.
Does God send these things? No, God is a God of health.
Do you want to see how good God is? Look at Jesus - Jesus said that He who has seen me has seen the Father.
Jesus never gave anyone sickness while He was on earth.


God wants us to prosper, but not to love money. Our prosperity is for a purpose - To help those who are in need. 
Money is a tool, a vehicle, and a weapon - money in the hands of a good person is used for good purposes, and money in the hands of a bad prison is used for bad purposes.


The whole point of reading the gospels is to feed on Christ. When you're sick, start focusing on all the healings, miracles, and wonders that Jesus does in the gospels.
You can even see yourself as the characters in the story - example: as the woman with the issue of blood who was healed by Jesus.


The word "wind" is the Hebrew word "ruach" which means "evil spirit" (Holy Spirit is ruach hakodesh).
Some sicknesses can be caused by demons. You don't always have to address the evil spirit when you pray for deliverance. Be led by the Holy Spirit on how to pray.


There are 89 chapters in the four gospels. Only 4 chapters of the 89 deals with the Lord Jesus' birth.
84 chapters talk about the last 3 and a half years of His life, including His death, burial and resurrection.
In the book of John, there are 12 chapters about His life before the upper room. 5 chapters are of the last few hours of His life.
We need four gospels to typify the life of this glorious Man. One gospel is not enough.
These four gospels are what the Holy Spirit deems fit and enough for you to know what Jesus did.


As a boy, Jesus lived a normal life. The first miracle Jesus ever did was to turn water into wine at the Wedding in Cana.

John 20:30-31 - Stop complaining that you don't have faith and start reading the word of God! The Gospel of John was written to produce faith in you.

“And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭20:30-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Matthew 1:1 - Jesus is the Son of David and of Abraham - David is the king. Abraham was promised the land.
Jesus has a double claim to kingship and the land. This is the gospel of the King.


“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

This is our story: We were chosen, saved, redeemed, and made royalty by God.
The illustrious women like Sarah and Rebekah were not written in, despite them rightfully being in the genealogy.
The four women mentioned above were written into the genealogy to let us know that Jesus is the King of grace.


“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham: Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers. Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram. Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon. Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭1:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

If you are indulging in sin you are destroying yourself. God hates sin as much as He loves you.

Matthew 9:8-13 - Many people cannot receive healing because they think that they are being punished for some sin in their lives, and they are sin-conscious.
At this time, Israel was under subjugation by the Roman Empire. The tax office was under the Roman Empire, and the tax collectors needed to renounce God.
The Jewish tax collectors were hated by their own people and outcasted.
Jesus is not an emaciated and frail Man as depicted in some paintings.
There is something magnetic about Jesus that caused people to follow Him with just two words.
Christianity is the only religion where your disqualifications are your qualifications!
God gave the Law to show how bad man is. The Pharisees want to put the Law outside, but Jesus showed that the Law governs what goes on inside as well.


“Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men. As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him. Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”” (Matthew‬ ‭9:8-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Matthew 17:1-8 - The word "transfigured" is "metamorpho" where we get the word metamorphosis.
The more we behold Jesus, the more we are metamorphosed into His image.
Pastor Prince believes that this incident took place on Mount Hermon.
Peter made a big mistake - He put Moses and Elijah which represent the Law and the Prophets, on the same level as Jesus who is Grace.
How do you see Jesus only? When you arise and are not afraid of God. 


“Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭17:1-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When you look at celebrities, you stay the same, but when you look at Jesus, you change.

Matthew 26:67 - The Ark of the Covenant is a visual aid that represents Jesus. When Uzzah touched it, he died.
What's more if someone touches Jesus, the true Substance. But the assaulters here did not die because of grace.


Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands,” ‭(‭Matthew‬ ‭26:67‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Mathews 27:26-31 - By Jesus' STRIPE we are healed - there was not one sliver of skin left on His back after being scourged.
Jesus was stripped before 500 to a 1000 soldiers (a whole garrison). Why was He humiliated so?
It is because when Adam and Eve sinned, the glory that clothed them disappeared -
Jesus redeemed us from the shame of our nakedness by taking the shame on Himself.


“Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole garrison around Him. And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head. And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭27:26-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Where the word of a king is there is power. Jesus used His power to cleanse us.

The Second Coming of Jesus happens in two phases: believers will be taken up in the Rapture first, then Jesus will come again to judge the world.

Matthew 1:17 - The way Matthew writes this is like how a tax collector counts and stacks coins/money. 
It's amazing how God lets the personality of the author of the books of the Bible show in them.


“So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John Mark wrote the Gospel of Mark. John Mark is the servant who failed, and yet God chose him to write about the Servant who never fails (Jesus). 
When God uses you, He never bypasses your personality.


The only thing left to do is to receive from God. Praying is important but praying doesn't mean receiving. 
Believe that you receive when you pray and you shall have. Some people want to have first then they will believe. It doesn't work that way. 
How you see the Lord Jesus affects how you receive from Him.


Mark 6:1-6 - Sometimes the ones closest to us are the most cynical and they are the last to believe that God would use us. 
When David asked his brother what must be done to slay the giant, his brother accused him of being naughty. 
David responded by turning away from his brother and asked the same question to someone else. 
Sometimes the best thing to do is to ignore the people who speak ill of us and criticize us. 
Receiving from Jesus is like how electricity flows - it must be conducted.


“Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭6:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Leviticus 1:1-9 - There are three types of burnt offerings you can bring: A bullock, a lamb/goat, or a bird. 
If you have a bullock-sized revelation of Jesus, you are rich spiritually. 
The bullock is a picture of Jesus. When you lay hands on Jesus, all His righteousness is transferred to you. 
Laying hands on the offering represents identification. We must identify ourselves with Jesus' righteousness. 
Why is the offering separated into three parts? 
The head refers to "He knew no sin", Legs refers to "He did no sin", and the entrails refers to "In Him is no sin".


“Now the LORD called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When any one of you brings an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of the livestock—of the herd and of the flock. ‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the LORD. Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. He shall kill the bull before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. And he shall skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay the wood in order on the fire. Then the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; but he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water. And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the LORD.” (‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭1:1-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Leviticus 1:14-15 - To easily receive from Jesus, you need to have a great revelation of the blood of Jesus. 
A bird has less blood than a bullock, and therefore represents a lesser revelation of the blood of Jesus.


“‘And if the burnt sacrifice of his offering to the LORD is of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or young pigeons. The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out at the side of the altar.” (‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The spirit that stops us from receiving from God is not the spirit of anti-God but the spirit of anti-Christ.

There is progression in the endings of the four gospels: The Gospel of Matthew ends with Jesus' resurrection, 
the Gospel of Mark ends with Jesus' ascension, 
the Gospel of Luke ends with the mention of the Day of Pentecost, 
and the Gospel of John ends with the mention of the Rapture.

If you have a bullock-sized revelation of Jesus, you are rich spiritually. The bullock is a picture of Jesus. When you lay hands on Jesus, all His righteousness is transferred to you. Laying hands on the offering represents identification. We must identify ourselves with Jesus' righteousness.

23 October 2016 - Seeing The Divine Servant in the Gospel of Mark - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online


Every time you come to God's house, you don't go out the same. You are being transformed from glory to glory.

Grace and peace is multiplied to us in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. Grace is unmerited favor.

Psalm 91:3 - A "fowler" is a trapper. The devil lays traps for us, but God will surely deliver us from them.

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭91:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

I Corinthians 15:58 - Sometimes people serving in full time ministry are serving their image, or serving their own ego.
It doesn't mean that someone in full time ministry is definitely serving the Lord Jesus.
Serving the Lord doesn't just mean shepherding a group or preaching the word. Serve the Lord in your own capacity that God has blessed you with.
The word "steadfast" here means that we must be seated and settled in our righteousness and know that we are blessed, favored and loved before we can serve the Lord.
That's why the Christian life begins with us being seated with Christ.
​The word "immovable" here means that Jesus has already redeemed us from sweat and stress.
In the Garden of Eden, Adam was cursed to eat bread from the sweat of his face (from toil and labor).
In the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus sweat blood, that's when He redeemed us from sweat.
We can work but we don't have to be stressed.
The word "abounding" here means serving the Lord more than just the bare minimum, on a daily basis, not just on Sundays.


“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:58‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John 12:26 - The word "honor" here means that the Father will value you very highly. If you serve Jesus, the Father will honor you.

“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” (‭‭John‬ ‭12:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When we start looking at each other we get hurt, disillusioned, disappointed. Our eyes must be on Jesus.

All of us have clay feet. The only perfect Servant is Jesus Christ.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam was cursed to eat bread from the sweat of his face (from toil and labor). In the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus sweat blood, that's when He redeemed us from sweat. We can work but we don't have to be stressed.

The Gospel of Mark is the face of an Ox - an ox is strong to labor - the Gospel of the Servant.

Every leader must have the four faces: Lion (the King), Ox (the Servant), Man( the Man), and the Eagle (Man of God). If you lose one face at least you have three more (haha!).

Mark 1:1 - There is no genealogy mentioned in the book of Mark because you don't ask a servant for his pedigree.
A Son doesn't have to do the same things that a servant does, but the Son became the Servant.
There is majesty and there is meekness in the Lord Jesus.


“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When the disciples were giving excuses why they shouldn't be the one to wash the other disciples' feet, Jesus took off His outer garment, put on a slave's girdle, and washed their feet. 
Only people who know who they are in God can stoop down and serve. Proud people cannot serve.


Married couples must not have to many separations, if not, they might as well not get married.
There shouldn't be too much of "this is my..." and "that is your ...".
You must not keep score cards - example: I already apologized last time, now is his turn.


The worst thing you can do is to give food to the prodigal son in the pig pen.
Don't do good just to feel good for yourself. Do good like how God will - at the right time, at the right place.


II Timothy 4:11 - God restored John Mark even though he failed big time at Pamphylia.
He chose the failed servant to write about the Perfect Servant who never fails!


“Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.”‭‭ (II Timothy‬ ‭4:11‬ ‭NKJV)

The Gospel of Mark is the shortest gospel of the four, and is in chronological order.

This word appears many times in the Gospel of Mark: The Greek word "Eutheos" which means immediately, straight away.
Examples: Mark 1:10,12,18,21,28,29,30,31,42,43.


“And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove... Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.... They immediately left their nets and followed Him.... Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.... And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.... Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.... But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once..... So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them..... As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed..... And He strictly warned him and sent him away at once,” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:10, 12, 18, 21, 28-31, 42-43‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The Gospel of Mark: 35 of the 45 verses in Mark Chapter 1 begins a sentence with "And".
Out of the 16 chapters, 11 chapters open with the word "And".
1200 times, "And" is used to open a chapter or open a sentence in the Gospel of Mark.


Mark 1:2-4 - 1) Announced by the forerunner. The forerunner is John the Baptist. The prophecy in verse 2 is from Malachi.
The prophecy in verse 3 is from Isaiah. John is the voice, not the echo. The voice comes first.


As it is written in the Prophets: “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.” “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.’ ” John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.” ‭‭(Mark‬ ‭1:2-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Philippians 2:5-8 - Jesus came in the form of a bondservant.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭2:5-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jesus is still serving and He keeps on serving.

Isaiah 40:3 - The word "Lord" is Yahweh and the word "God" is Elohim.

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭40:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Mark 1:10-11 - At this point in time, Jesus had not even performed one miracle yet.
2) Affirmed by the Father - The Father affirmed His love for Jesus to encourage Him. We all go in the knowledge that God loves us.
3) Anointed by the Spirit.
You want your children to perform? Approve them. Stop the curse of approving your child only when they do well.
Approve them first. If you don't praise or affirm your child, they will become proud.


“And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”” ‭‭(Mark‬ ‭1:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 2:51-52 - You want to be increased in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man? Learn to submit.
Submitting to someone smarter, stronger and more powerful than you is not called submission - it's called giving in.


“Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:51-52‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In the Gospel of Mark, there are three times more miracles mentioned than in the Gospel of Matthew.
When it comes to serving, what you do is more important than what you say.


Mark 10:45 - We must consent to be served first by God until we are so full that we can go out to serve the Lord.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”” ‭(Mark‬ ‭10:45‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

There are 12 accounts of Jesus casting out demons in these short 16 chapters of the Gospel of Mark.
Although only a Servant, Jesus has dominion both in the visible world and in the invisible world.
It's like the Holy Spirit is saying that "You want power? Then serve."
Jesus wants us to be great, but He doesn't want us to be great by promoting ourselves or by doing it the world's way.


Why is John the Baptist the greatest up till Jesus' time on earth?
It is because his ministry points to the Lord Jesus Christ - "Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world".
​Does the ministry you listen to or sit under point to the Lord Jesus?

Mark 1:12-13 - 4) Assailed by the devil - It was the Holy Spirit, and not Satan, who led Jesus into the wilderness.
The word "tempted" here can mean tempted to sin, or tested.
Jesus cannot be tempted to sin because He does not have the sin nature inside Him. There is no stirring inside when He is tempted.
For Jesus, He was tested, to show that He is perfect. It's almost like God the Father is saying to Satan, "Here, this is pure gold. Go ahead, test Him in every way."
In the end, the devil has to acknowledge that Jesus is pure gold.
It's amazing that so many things can be said in one verse - Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the angels, Satan, and the wild beasts were there.
5) Acknowledged by the wild beasts - These animals are not domesticated. Even the wild beasts acknowledged Jesus as God, only man doesn't.
The wounds on Jesus at the cross were not made by the wild beasts. They were made by man.
The only man-made things in heaven are the wounds in Jesus' hands and feet.
6) Attended to by angels - Every time we proclaim the name of Jesus and gather in the name of Jesus, angels are there to minister to us because we are valuable to God.
Angels are still serving today, and every child has an angel assigned to him/her.


“Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Mark 1:23-24 - Even demons recognize and know who Jesus is. Demons know who are serving Jesus and who are not.

“Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:23-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Mark 1:32-34 - 7) Acclaimed by the multitude. Jesus does not need the promotion of demons.
It's only blinded men that do not recognize who Jesus is. It is no wonder that they don't have wealth, health, healing etc.
Mark 1 ends with sunset - Jesus came into our darkness.


At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. And the whole city was gathered together at the door. Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.” ‭(‭Mark‬ ‭1:32-34‬ ‭NKJV‬)

Mark 16:2 - The Gospel of Mark ends with sunrise. Jesus brings us out of the darkness, into the light.

“Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.” ‭‭(Mark‬ ‭16:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Mark 16:19-20 - Even though Jesus is exalted in glory, He is still working.
When we minister in the name of Jesus, Jesus is working with us. We are not alone.


“So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In the vision of the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation, Jesus is seen girded with gold.
Even though Jesus is high and lifted up, He is still serving.
​This message is for those who are steadfast, immovable, abounding and who want to serve the Lord.

Even the wild beasts acknowledged Jesus as God, only man doesn't. The wounds on Jesus at the cross were not made by the wild beasts. They were made by man. The only man-made things in heaven are the wounds in Jesus' hands and feet.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value In "Doctor Strange (2016)" (Spoilers Alert!)​​


​1) Getting our overly-inflated egos out of the way allows us to achieve greatness.

By deciding to live to protect others and not just for himself, Stephen Strange aka Doctor Strange stepped into his greater destiny to protect earth from spiritual threats in the astral plane. He was willing to sacrifice himself to save the earth and that showed how far he had progressed as a person.

2) We gain control in life by surrendering control to a higher power.

Stephen Strange was unable to conjure a portal to a different location before he surrendered control to the energy. The Ancient One teleported him to a high point on Mount Everest and left him there to decide: Will he freeze to death because of refusal to let go of his ego, or will he surrender control, flow with the energy and finally be able to control it?

3) When we stop looking at the world through our 'little keyhole' perspectives and begin to have an open mind, we can see the bigger picture.

Stephen Strange arrived at Kamar-Taj as a very rude and arrogant man, thinking that he knew it all. When the Ancient One forced his astral form out of his physical body, he was humbled and able to see that he actually knew very little about how the world worked. In his amazement, he begged the Ancient One to teach him the way of the mystic arts.

4) It is almost impossible to stop a persistent, determined and patient person.

Doctor Strange used the Eye of Agamotto to create an infinite time loop inside the Dark Dimension that trapped himself and Dormammu in the same moment forever. Driven to insanity and feeling trapped by the same scene happening over and over again, Dormammu agreed to leave Earth if Strange broke the loop.

5) Nothing good can ever come from striking deals with demons.

Being deceived by Dormammu, Kaecilius and his followers used the stolen pages to summon him from the Dark Dimension where time does not exist and all can live forever. In the end, Kaecilius and his followers were stripped of their flesh and absorbed into the Dark Dimension to suffer for all eternity. Not the kind of eternal life that he was expecting wasn't it?

30 October 2016 - Thanksgiving: The Key to Receiving Multiplication and Increase - Pastor Lim Lian Neo Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online


Acronyms: DEAR (Drop everything and rest) and DEAR (Jesus has done everything and restored).

John 6:1-14 - Two hundred Denarii wasn't even enough to feed the multitudes a little.
But when Jesus multiplied the loaves, they ate AS MUCH AS they wanted.
This miracle is significant as all four gospels record this incident.
Jesus showed Himself as the Bread of Life. Jesus is our Supply, our Source and our Everything.


“After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”” (John‬ ‭6:1-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John 6:23 - John found it significant to repeat that Jesus had given thanks.
If you need an increase and multiplication in your life, thanksgiving is the key to it!
Thanksgiving is not a formula to earn blessings. It is a fruit produced from having a relationship with God.
God loves to bless us because He loves us and when we give thanks, it gives Him great pleasure.


“however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks—” ‭‭(John‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Psalms 100:4 - God loves it when we come to Him with thanksgiving and not with a sulking gloomy face.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭100:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Eucharisteo = Literally "good grace" (to look up and be grateful for God's grace pouring down).
In the Gospel of John, John used "eucharisteo" when Jesus broke bread and blessed God.

Eulogeo = Literally "good word" (to speak well of).
"Eulogeo" is used in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke in the same incident of Jesus breaking bread and giving thanks.

This miracle is significant as all four gospels record this incident. Jesus showed Himself as the Bread of Life. Jesus is our Supply, our Source and our Everything.

When Jesus was on earth, He moved as the Son of Man, not the Son of God.
He had uninterrupted fellowship with the Father.
The Son of God gave thanks and John saw that. John saw it fit to record and say something about Jesus doing that.
Jesus was not pretending to give thanks to God for the sake of showing the disciples how it should be done. He did it sincerely out of His heart.


Phillipians 4:6-7 - The Bible says that we don't have to be anxious about anything.
Whatever you are anxious about, by prayer and supplication (asking), with thanksgiving (looking up and seeing the grace of God being poured down on you), you can stop being anxious.
When you look to men and demand from their flesh, you can get angry.
When you are trusting God for something to happen and you're still waiting, you don't have to be anxious - look up.


Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The Greek word for "Man" is "Anthropos" which means "Upward-looking one". Man is not made like other creatures which look down at the dust.

When we complain it's because we took our eyes off the Lord and placed it on ourselves or others and give ourselves or others stress.
Our grumbling is not going to help anything. Looking up to God will change everything.


Do this every morning when you wake up (Acronym): ACT (Adoration, Confess [who we are in Christ], Thanksgiving).

Eucharisteo = Literally "good grace" (to look up and be grateful for God's grace pouring down). In the Gospel of John, John used "eucharisteo" when Jesus broke bread and blessed God.

Deuteronomy 8:7-18 - God wants us to know that He has blessed us with every good thing so that we can look up and give thanks for it.
God doesn't want us to ever forget that it is He who has blessed us.


For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you. “Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, lest— when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock; who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end— then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’ “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭8:7-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jeremiah 17:5-8 - If you only trust in yourself and in man, it is a cursed life to live.
A blessed person doesn't have to be anxious because he/she depends on the grace of our good God.


“Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” ‭‭(Jeremiah‬ ‭17:5-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Be a person who says "It's not about me, it's not about others, it's about Jesus!".

No good thing dwells in our flesh, and if there's any good it's because of the goodness of God.

We have a good God and we can just look up every day.

Jesus was beaten that we might be blessed.
​Because wave upon wave of judgement came upon Jesus at the cross, we can enjoy wave upon wave of blessings today!

The Devil wants to rob us of the sense of God's favor and love upon us.

Repentance is about changing our minds. It's about knowing that God is not against you - God is for you!

God loves you and He knows you by name. He also knows the numbers of hairs you have on your head - that's how intimately He knows you.
God cares about everything that's about you! There's nothing too small or insignificant that you cannot tell God.
Cast all your cares upon Him for you cares for you!


We grow spiritually not by accumulation of knowledge. You grow more and more by knowing how weak you are and how great God is.
You know you are growing spiritually when you are getting more carefree.


In God's economy, what is invisible is eternal! The devil wants you in the visual realm, to focus on what is temporal.
We are to walk by faith and not by sight. The opposite of faith is sight.


If you can see the devil doing something, God is doing the reverse!
Example: If the devil releases a new strain of virus into the world, God is releasing a new and fresh anointing of healing into the world!
Another example: When Pharaoh was killing babies under the age of 2, God was raising up champion babies (like Moses) into this world.


God is not playing catch up, He is always ahead and doing something invisible.
The devil is the one that is playing catch up, reacting to something that God is doing.


The way that God brings great things into your life is by you focusing on Jesus and not on yourself.
Only the Holy Spirit will point you to the Lord Jesus Christ. The world will never point you to Jesus.


If you're sick, spend time in the Gospels and focus on all the miracles of Jesus.
The first healing that is recorded for us in the first Gospel (Matthew) is the cleansing of the leper.
We can have complete assurance that it is God's will for us to be well because Jesus touched the leper and told him that He is willing to heal the leper.
The next healing miracle: The centurion said "only speak the word and he will be healed". It will produce faith in us to believe for healing!


God used secretaries to write the four Gospels.
God uses personalities and He does not bypass it. He thinks highly of individual personalities.


In the Gospel of Matthew, it is the gospel that talks about the kingdom of heaven.

The gospel of John opens up with the Son always being in the bosom of the Father.
It's the gospel of love, and it's written by the man who always leaned on the Lord's love for him.


The gospel of Mark was written by the servant who failed and that servant was chosen to write about the Perfect Servant who never fails!

The Gospel of Luke - Luke is addressed as the beloved physician. Luke was the Apostle Paul's traveling companion.
Luke pointed out that it was the right hand of the man who was healed of his withered hand. Only a doctor will say that.
Why did God choose a doctor to write the Gospel of Luke? Because the emphasis is on the Perfect Man, and doctors are intimate with man.
There are things you tell your doctor about yourself that you don't even tell the people close to you!


Luke 1:4-5 - The Bible is the only book in the world that can give you rock-solid certainty, not only for this life but also in the life to come.
The Gospel of Luke opens up with a certain priest - it is a priestly gospel.
Priests have got to do with man. Priests represent man to God. Priests represent grace. We are called to be a kingdom of royal priests, and called to be a kingdom of grace.
The key to understanding any book in the Bible hangs at the door (How the book opens up with).
Example: The Book of Ecclesiastes opens up with "Vanities of vanities!".
It was written by King Solomon, the wisest and richest man that ever lived, and having tried everything under the sun, he calls it all vanities of vanities. 
It's written to tell those people who think that "I will be happy when I have _____ (fill in the blank with material/worldly possessions)!" that life can only be complete with Jesus. 


“that you may know the certainty of those things in which you were instructed. There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:4-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Leviticus 14:1-4 - In those days, they did not have doctors. A priest would examine the sick.
In God's eyes, before we were saved, we were once spiritually lepers.
The priest must leave the camp because the leper cannot enter the camp - he will be stoned!
If Jesus did not leave heaven's glory to come to earth, we'd all be lost!


“Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “This shall be the law of the leper for the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest. And the priest shall go out of the camp, and the priest shall examine him; and indeed, if the leprosy is healed in the leper, then the priest shall command to take for him who is to be cleansed two living and clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.” ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭14:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The incense that the priest burns in the temple represents the minute beauties and intricacies of the Lord Jesus Christ.
You can ask whatever you want when you praise God's Son.


If your center is right, your whole world will be right. Is Jesus at the your center of your life?

​Luke 1:62-64 - Zachariah was not just a dumb priest - he was deaf too - if not why would the people have to make signs to Zachariah? 
Jesus our High Priest speaks, blesses us and hears our cries!
The moment grace possesses you, you can't stop talking about grace!
The first mention of writing tablet in the Old Testament is the Law (God wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets).
The first mention of writing tablet in the New Testament is grace (the name "John" means grace).


“So they made signs to his father—what he would have him called. And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they all marveled. Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God.” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭1:62-64‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 24:50-53 - "Bethany" means "house of the early figs/poor/suffering".
It was Jesus' favorite place on earth - like a home away from home!
The Gospel of Luke opens with the dumb priest who could not bless the people,
and it ends with Jesus our High Priest with hands extended and blessing His people!


“And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.” ‭(Luke‬ ‭24:50-53‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 24:25-27 - It's more important for Cleopas and his wife to see Jesus in the Scriptures because that's God giving everyone the equal opportunity to see Jesus, as we have the Scriptures too.

“Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭24:25-27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Number 5:2 - In consecutive order is what happened in the Gospel of Luke.
1) Jesus cleansed the leper,
2) Jesus stopped the discharge of the woman who was suffering from it for 12 years,
3) Jesus raised Jairus' daughter from the dead.
Don't invite Jesus to a funeral (haha). Death cannot co-exist in the presence of Jesus.


““Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled by a corpse.” (‭‭Numbers‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Hebrews 13:13 - Jesus is outside of Judaism and the Law! Grace is outside the camp.
If you go out of the camp, the people would reproach you, but who cares about man's reproach when you can have God's favor?
Don't practice Numerology. That's Satanic. But numbers with God is important.
Example: There are thirteen words in this verse, and this verse is in the thirteenth chapter of Hebrews.
Right in the center of the verse, the middle word is "Him". Seeing Him (Jesus) will make you strong, joyful, blessed, etc.


“Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭13:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Deuteronomy 34:7 - What is Moses' secret to his enduring strength?

“Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:7‬ ‭NKJV)

Hebrews 11:27 - The word "endured" is from the Greek word "kratos" which means physically strong, and physical power.
Moses remained physically strong by seeing Him (Jesus).


“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:27‬ ‭NKJV‬)

31st October ever since the 1500's has been Reaffirmation Day - the day where Martin Luther wrote the thesis that says that we are under grace and not under the Law.
Halloween - the word "hallow" in the name actually means holy. It's typical of the devil to try to hijack something that belongs to God.


It's possible to quote Scripture and yet for it to not be the gospel. If you only quote verses that preach "turn or burn" messages, that's not the good news. 
Every word in the Bible is inspired of God, but not everything is the gospel.

​I John 4:17 - Jesus is in heaven now, representing us as Man, not as God. 
We have a Perfect High Priest that lives by the power of an endless life! 
Take your eyes off yourself, and look at Jesus - as He is holy, righteous and favored right now, SO ARE YOU!! 
Don't limit this verse: As Jesus is free from sickness and diseases right now, so are we right now, in this world! 
All we can say is that "As Jesus is free from _____ (the condition you have), so am I in this world." 
It is not us who makes the healing happen, but it's done by the Holy Spirit.


“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.” (‭‭I John‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NKJV‬)

The only thing that Jesus has that we cannot have right now is a glorified body. 
We must think of ourselves as a resurrected being in a body. 
The resurrection life has already begun in your body. Death is not ahead of us, it is already behind us!


Luke 14:1-6 - Jesus is not comfortable in man's world. 
Jesus does not condemn people who are sick. He sees sick people as an ox that has fallen into a pit.


“Now it happened, as He went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees to eat bread on the Sabbath, that they watched Him closely. And behold, there was a certain man before Him who had dropsy. And Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” But they kept silent. And He took him and healed him, and let him go. Then He answered them, saying, “Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?” And they could not answer Him regarding these things.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭14:1-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 15:1-4 - This is Jesus' world, with all the sinners.

Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” So He spoke this parable to them, saying: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭15:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 18:18-23 - The rich young ruler was proud and was looking to justify himself. 
If you boast in the Law, Jesus is the Master at bringing you to the end of yourself. 
When given the Law, the rich young ruler shut his heart and could not even give one shekel.


“Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ ” And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:18-23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 19:5-10 - Jesus called Zacchaeus by name. He did not call the rich young ruler by name. 
Zacchaeus was a tax collector - at that time, tax collectors were seen as great sinners, like prostitutes. 
By dealing with Zacchaeus by grace, Zacchaeus opened up his wallet, his heart and his house.


And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭19:5-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

2017 will be the 500th year since the Reformation. The Reformation is nothing more than the restoration of the gospel of grace.

The Bible from Genesis to Revelation is all God-breathed. God used secretaries and their personalities to write the books of the Bible.

In the Gospel of John, "the disciple whom Jesus loved" is written 5 times at the end of the book, and it's written by the man who lived in Jesus' bosom (love).

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" is God-breathed but it's antiquated and not for our time - it's not the gospel.

The Hebrew calendar has in this year 777. In the Gregorian calendar, next year is the 500th year since the Reformation.

God uses things of no repute and low esteem in the eyes of man to confound the great and educated.
The heroes in Jesus' parables are the lost, the last and the least.


It's not how much faith you have, it's who your faith is in. If you turn to Jesus, He says that you have great faith.

Jesus is now seated at the Father's right hand and one day He will stand up and come back for us.

I John 4:17 - God's love has culminated in our lives because of what Jesus has done for us.
The day of judgement refers to the future event of the "Bema Seat of Christ", where God will give us rewards.
At the Bema Seat of Christ we will be standing before Jesus in our glorified bodies.
Will you present Jesus - gold, silver and precious stones to God, or man's effort - hay, straw?
We will never be judged because Jesus was judged in our place at the cross. We are not standing there to be condemned - The Judge is our righteousness.
We will never go through the Great White Throne Judgement - where unbelievers are condemned to the lake of fire.
The word "judgement" in the verse means "crisis".


“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.” ‭(‭I John‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jesus is seated down at the right hand of the Father as (representing) us. Have the "Throne-Life attitude".
The Father wants us to sit down and rest until He puts all our enemies at our feet as our footstools.

Since there's no ageing in heaven, He shouldn't look old.) ​

In ancient Israel, the High Priest stands for all Israel. That's why Jesus is not called our Prophet, but our High Priest.
The prophet represents God to the people whereas the high priest represents the people to God.


Jesus' blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Jesus' blood speaks forgiveness, blessings and all good things into your life.

The fact that Jesus is seated at the Father's right hand today proves that all our sins were purged and we have complete forgiveness in Him.
Sitting down means resting. Jesus cannot sit down if our sins are not forgiven.


God's priority is not on creation, but on redemption. In creation, what God created was fallen, but in redemption, it was restored much more back to God.

In the Tabernacle, there is a table of shoal bread but there is no seat. The high priest of ancient Israel cannot sit down and has to keep working.

Jesus is not just 100% God but also 100% Man. A Man made it to heaven - Jesus the Heavenly Man is seated at the right hand of the Father.

The spirit of antichrist says that Jesus never came in the flesh.
We were all born in the flesh, whereas Jesus is the only One who came in the flesh - "came" suggests a pre-existence.


A sinner sometimes does good, but he is a sinner. A believer sometimes sins, but he is a believer.

In ancient Israel, if the high priest is good and the people are bad, Israel will still be accepted before God.
However if the people are good and the high priest is bad, Israel will be rejected before God and Israel can expect to have a really bad and gloomy year ahead.


Even if the current high priest of Israel is good, he will die one day. If the successor is bad, then Israel can look forward to bad times ahead.
But our High Priest Jesus lives by the power of an endless life. He is our perfect High Priest forever!


Pastor Prince said not to judge people (Referring to President-Elect Donald Trump) before their time and that many blessings are coming towards America.

David took Goliath's head from the Valley of Elah miles and miles away to Jerusalem to bury it.
Rabbinical teaching says that there is a little mountain that formed over where Goliath's head was buried, called "Golgotha".
At Golgotha, a greater giant was defeated. Jesus crushed Satan's head at the cross.


Because of our flesh, sometimes we have sinful and evil thoughts.
The devil always comes and points you to yourself. The Holy Spirit always points you to Jesus.
The question is not "Am I good enough?", it is "Is He (Jesus) good enough?".
We are joint-heirs with Jesus. Jesus is our investment.


Cleopas and his wife were downcast while walking on the Road to Emmaus because their eyes were not on Jesus.
Jesus said to them "Fools and slow of heart to believe" - two indictments against the church today.
Calling them "Fools" suggests that they had a lack of knowledge. We need to grow in the knowledge of Jesus and believe in Him.


If you are sick, say "As He is, so am I in this world". You may not see immediate manifestation of healing, but keep on declaring it.
The world only depends on creation - exercise, diet, etc, but we have Jesus - we can depend on redemption.


When Jesus bore our sins, He bore both male and female sins upon Himself. We can confidently receive healing for whatever condition that is affecting us. 

II Corinthians 3:18 - Moses veiled his face because the glory of God on his face was passing away, and if the children of Israel saw the glory disappear,
they would think that there was something wrong with Moses. But that leads to a religion of covering up.


“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Our disqualifications are our qualifications for receiving God's grace.

Mark 6:45-48 - Jesus had just multiplied the loaves and fed the multitudes and left 12 basketfuls of loaves as leftover.
Jesus was probably on Mount Arbel. Jesus departed to the mountain to pray -
Jesus is at the Father's right hand today, active and praying for us, and we are down here being assaulted by the winds and the waves here on earth.
The word "straining" means "stress".
The fourth watch of the night is the darkest part of the night. In the darkest hour, Jesus came to His disciples.
Jesus sees us and knows what we are going through. He is attentively watching us.


“Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away. And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray. Now when evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land. Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by.” (‭‭Mark‬ ‭6:45-48‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Matthew 14:25-33 - The waters became pavement to Jesus' feet. Jesus will walk over your troubles and over whatever you are worried about.
"Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid" is "I AM" in the original - that is how the God of the burning bush introduced Himself to Moses.
Some of the disciples were experienced fishermen but they were caught in the storm. We cannot depend on our own strength, degrees, etc.
What has strong waves and howling winds got to do with whether you can walk on the water or not?
You mean you can walk on the water if the water is still and there's not even a ripple? No. When we step into unbelief we become stupid.
As long as Peter's eyes were on Jesus, he became as Jesus is.
Jesus on the sea is Providence. Jesus in the boat is presence.


“Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭14:25-33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jesus healed the blind man by putting clay over his eyes and asked him to wash his eyes at the Pool of Siloam (Redemption).
In the natural, if you put clay over your eyes you become blinder.
What creation cannot do, redemption did. What the Law cannot do, grace supplied.


Ephesians 5:30 - We are members of His corporeal body, not just the mystical interpretation of it.

“For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 63:9 - To love someone is to identify yourself with them.
When the children of Israel were suffering in the fiery furnace of Egypt, God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush because He was identifying with their suffering.
When the children of Israel were living in tents, God dwelled with them in a tent too, in the Tabernacle.
When the children of Israel were going into battle led by Joshua, God appeared as a Commander.
When the children of Israel lived in dwellings of stone, God dwelled in the Temple.
God is not far away in heaven, He dwells here with us.
God gave us His position and all good things.


In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭63:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

I Corinthians 6:15 - Respect your body. We are literally members (part of the body) of Christ.
Having this revelation will give us the confidence that when we lay hands and pray for someone, it's as good as Jesus doing it Himself. How powerful will that be!


Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!” (‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

I John 3:2-3 - When Jesus come back for us, we will have a glorified body like His. If we keep seeing Jesus in the Scriptures, we shall become like Jesus.

“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” (‭‭I John‬ ‭3:2-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

God made Jesus to be the measure of our blessings.

Luke 2:8 - Many pastors are shepherding their congregations without a full revelation of the gospel of grace. 
It's not good enough to preach grace a lot - pastors should be preaching grace ALONE. 


“Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night.” ‭(Luke‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

God speaks to us while we're doing our normal day to day stuff.

In the fight of life, when the devil knocks you down, Grace will keep on counting (without disqualifying you) until you get up and finish your cause.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trusting God is sometimes so difficult because we are human.
There is a battle going on for your trust - The Lord, versus your reasoning and your emotions.


Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Hebrews 4:15-16 - Jesus knows what it's like to trust His Father as a Human. Jesus understands our humanness.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” ‭(‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:15-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Mark 14:33-34 - Jesus demonstrated how to trust God when emotionally-crushed.
Even when He was deeply distressed up to the point of sweating blood, He still said to His Father, "Your will, not mine be done.".


“And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”” ‭‭(Mark‬ ‭14:33-34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

I Peter 2:23 - Stay on the cross, it's safer there. When Jesus was insulted and taunted to prove Himself to be the Messiah while He hung on the cross, He did not retaliate - He stayed on the cross.
Our emotions hate the consequence of trusting God - That emotion is vulnerability. As humans, we hate feeling vulnerable.
Don't care about what people say about you. Trust in what heaven knows about you.
Trust is faith plus nothing.


“who, when He was reviled, did not revile in returnwhen He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;” (‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Grace surprises us every day. It turns up at the most unlikely, unexpected time and place in our lives.

Stay on the cross, it's safer there. When Jesus was insulted and taunted to prove Himself to be the Messiah while He hung on the cross, He did not retaliate - He stayed on the cross.

Isaac in trusting God was vulnerable to Abraham with the dagger, about to perform the sacrificial act. 
Daniel in trusting God was vulnerable to the appetite of the lions. 
The children of Israel on the plains of Jericho were vulnerable as they were circumcised before battle.
God is saying "Trust Me!"


On the day of Passover, the children of Israel came out of Egypt with lamb in them. 
God wanted them to come into the Promised Land also with lamb in them. 
The smell of the Lamb brings fear into our enemy - it is the aroma of trust- 
a Christian giving up control to God in an out-of-control situation. 
When the devil smells Lamb on you, his hands are tied and it frustrates him.


What out-of-control situation in your life are you trying to control? 
What is that situation that you need to leave in the hands of God, leaving yourself feeling vulnerable?


It's easy once you're through that situation. Trust God and let it go!

​Our Heavenly Father loves us even as He loves the Lord Jesus.


If two of us gather in Jesus' name (2 is the smallest majority), there Jesus is in the midst.

The church of Jesus Christ is God's greatest dream.

The Lord Jesus was always with the Father, even before He came to earth.

The Book of Genesis is the book of beginning.

The book of Genesis describes the lives of four men as head figures:
Adam
Noah
Abraham is the key figure. God is called the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Joseph (The book of Genesis ends with Joseph).


In the four gospels, it takes four writers to talk about One Man, Jesus.

When God talks about creation, there is only one chapter. When God talks about redemption, there are many chapters.
God did not put redemption as an afterthought. Creation is the servant of redemption.
God had in His heart redemption all the while.


We are blessed when we study on redemption, because heaven is focused on redemption. When you talk about redemption, all of heaven's focus is on you.
Heaven's focus is not on the great, the accomplished or the wealthy.
Heaven's focus is on the shepherds, the lowly virgin, etc.


Eden was before the fall. When man fell, his body was no longer the same.
Man was never meant to grow old or die.
Growing old is a curse that the inhabitants of the earth experience. In heaven, no one is old.
Decay came because of sin. The wages of sin is death. It was never God's plan. God calls Death an enemy.


We are not waiting for the antichrist. We are waiting for the Blessed Hope, the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ during the Rapture.
Even if Jesus tarries and we depart to be with the Lord before the Rapture, the atoms from our body are not lost to God.
God will gather the atoms back at the Rapture and we will have a brand new body.


Why did God create the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? It was to give man the opportunity to exercise his free choice.
If there was nothing to choose from, then the gift of free choice is not really free choice.


Before the flood, the earth was upright. After the flood, man's life was reduced by half.
Before the flood, there was a firmament the Bible says, that created a canopy that provided a fully oxygenated environment for the earth, for living creatures to grow big and strong.
During the flood, the cracking of the earth caused toxic fumes and substances to rise up, shortening man's life by half.
Because the waters were released onto the surface during the flood, God had to freeze up all the excess water that was on the surface of the earth.
God had to tilt the earth. Scientifically, they say that if you tilt the earth back upright, the frozen waters will melt.


God sanctioned the eating of meat. If God says eat meat, eat meat!

Genesis 2:15-24 - It's always important when God consults Himself. God consulted Himself when He said "It is not good that man should be alone".
The woman is meant to be a helper.
God gave authority to Adam over all the animals. Today it's not the same. Animals are not under man's authority anymore. Man's crown of glory lies somewhere in the dust.
Living together (without marriage) is not God's idea. God's idea is marriage.
God wanted to show Adam the need for a partner. God knows how to promote things.
Many times we try to shove things into someone's face but they don't see it. We have to create the desire in them.
The rib is near to the heart. The place of love, so that Adam would love Eve.
If you don't like something about your wife or if there's something that irritates you, go to sleep. God will work in the night shift.
When God "made" woman, in Hebrew it means that He "built her delicately".
When God formed man, He "squeezed" the dust.
Woman was created from man's rib, she is the improved version.
The Hebrew word for man is "Ish" - there is no hei.
But when God breathed life into woman, the Hebrew word for woman is "Ishah" which has the hei (grace). The woman has the grace of influence.
God gave man the headship, but woman is the neck and has the power to turn the head. She has influence!


“Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” And the LORD God said, “ It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭2:15-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Ephesians 3:31-33 - Guys, after you are married, at least emotionally, you have to leave your father and mother so that you can live your new life.
Honor your father and mother, but leave and cleave to your wife.


““For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.” ‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭5:31-33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In the New Testament, "mystery" means something hidden that is now revealed to those who are initiated.

We are people who live in a time-bound world, and we cannot understand that God can see things without the constraints of time.
Creation is not God's first thought. Redemption was God's first thought!


Jesus sent the blind man to wash his eyes in the Pool of Siloam and he came back seeing.
"Siloam" means "the sent one". There are people who go to other countries to be missionaries, but they are not sent. To go is not sent. We must be sent.
Jesus was sent. Jesus is deity. Jesus came in the flesh, He was not born in the flesh.
Man must have a Master. We have to pick a side - it's either you're choosing heaven (God) or your choosing hell (the devil).

The blind man said "All I know is that once I was blind, but now I see."
The one with the experience will never be at the mercy of the one with the argument.
Don't let their eruditeness and well-learnedness intimidate you. You have a testimony!


If you trust in creation, you will fall from redemption. It is the same as falling from grace.
Holy Communion is one way to receive from redemption.


God knows that woman will be a source of man's happiness. The devil always tries to pervert that.
Some men abuse their wives. The word "abuse" comes from "abnormal use". If we don't understand the pattern, we will not use something properly.


We live in a culture of shame and covering up.
We cover up when we do wrong, when we feel that we have fallen short, and when we feel that we have imperfections.


When Jesus returns to rule on earth during the Millennial Reign of Christ, the wolf and the lamb will lie down together, and the little child will put his hand into the dwelling of an adder and be unharmed.
Jesus is coming back to establish that world.


The influx of cartoons about aliens and movies about aliens is the devil's plan to prepare an explanation for the Rapture.
He will say that we were abducted by aliens and attempt to convince everyone who is left behind on earth of that lie.

Genesis 3:6-16 - Adam was not somewhere else when the 'salesman' serpent was talking to Eve. 
Adam was seeing the whole transaction and he kept quiet throughout. 
Adam was there when God told him not to eat from the tree, and that was before Eve was made. 
Adam was supposed to teach and share with Eve what God told him. 
Eve did not know exactly what God said because she thought that if she touched the tree, she would die. God never said that. 
Evil triumphs when good men keep quiet. 
God sought man, and it was not man that sought for God. 
God knew where they were, but He asked where they were because there is a spiritual element to those words. 
Jesus cursed the fig tree because it represents self-righteousness - when man tries to cover himself with wealth, nobility, etc. 
Fear is not a friend. God hates fear. Every time God comes to a man He will say "Fear not!". 
Fear came in because man sinned. Fear is having more faith in what the devil can do, than in the power of God to deliver you. 
Close on the heels of fear is hate. If you fear someone long enough you will hate them. Perfect love casts out fear. God loves us perfectly. 
Sin makes us cowards. When you have a conscience, you have a tendency to do the evil. 
Conscience causes us to fear God (in a negative way). 
Adam blamed both God and Eve at the same time. 
When you argue with your wife, never insist that you are right. Never try to reason it out. Never be quick to blame other people. 
Always take the place where you are wrong. Just say sorry. 
People will blame anybody but themselves. That's the essence of sin. The one who says sorry first is the winner in God's economy. 
We are blessed and Satan is cursed. Satan always wants us to touch his things to bring us under the same curse as him. 
Don't be natural, be spiritual. Walk with God and you will not be devour-able by Satan. 
Satan crushed Jesus' heel and Jesus crushed Satan's head at the cross. Satan's seat of knowledge and intelligence was crushed. 
The devil tried to corrupt the woman's seed by getting the fallen angels to intermingle with human women to produce the corrupted "Nephillim" race, such that there was no pure human seed left except for Noah and his family. 
That is why God sent the flood to wipe out the entire Nephillim race. 
There were no thorns and thistles before man fell. That is why Jesus wore the crown of thorns, to redeem the earth from the curse of thorns and thistles.


“So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” And the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you.”” ‭(‭Genesis‬ ‭3:6-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When Job was suffering in that one year, how did that whole situation turn around? 
Job's problem was self-righteousness - he boasted in his charitable acts and all the things that he did right as a basis for his righteousness. 
At the end of the Book of Job, Job came to place where he repented and he "abhorred himself", and God restored everything that he had lost.


When you have a debt ledger and you're heavily in debt, you don't want to look at it. 
It's only when you know that all your sins are forgiven that you can talk about it freely. 
Haters will always hate. But those who love you will still love you. 
There is a wonderful peace when you can own up to your mistakes freely and easily.


Genesis 4:3-12 - Abel brought the lamb. He is saying that "I deserve to die, but this lamb dies in my place". 
Cain offered the work of his hands, the produce of the land which is cursed. 
In essence he is saying "I don't believe that I'm a sinner and it's Your fault that the earth is cursed". 
Why did Cain murder Abel? It's because of the difference in approach - one approach produces love and the other produces hatred and even murder. 
The word "sin" in the verse is the same Hebrew word that means "sin offering". God spoke to Cain with grace.


“And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.”” ‭(‭Genesis‬ ‭4:3-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

I John 3:10-12 - Practicing righteousness means trusting in the sacrifice. 
When you bring your works to God, that is evil work. When you bring Jesus to God, that is righteous work.


“In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.” ‭‭(I John‬ ‭3:10-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 22:44 - The very first area that Jesus shed His blood on is the cursed ground. 
Jesus' blood has redeeming quality. Jesus redeemed us from the curse of sweat and stress. 
Every step we take is on blessed ground. We are redeemed!


“And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

There were no thorns and thistles before man fell. That is why Jesus wore the crown of thorns, to redeem the earth from the curse of thorns and thistles.

One of the most precious things that we are praying for is the salvation of our family members. The Lord will do a marvelous work for us in our lives.

Great blessings await those who serve the Lord. There is a special honor for those who serve the Lord.

Isaiah 9:6 - Our God is called "Wonderful" and "Counsellor". What we need is wisdom from Jesus.

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In five days, God created the universe and everything in it, and He said that it was good.
On the sixth day, God created man and He said it was very good!
We are the crown of God's creation, and we take His breath away.

Genesis 1:27-28 - The very first thing that God did after creating man is to bless him (without condition). His heart is to bless us.
We have a good God. God's heart is to bless the family unit of man and the marriage of man.


“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”” (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27-28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)


Jesus came because He wants us to have an abundant life.

Psalm 23:1 - Because the Lord is our Shepherd, we shall never lack anything that we need. This statement is not contingent on making God our Shepherd.
It's contingent on Him making Himself our Shepherd.
It is God's good pleasure to give us His kingdom. God's heart is to give and bless.


The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

There was one thing in creation that was not good. God said that it was not good that man should be alone.
Therefore God instituted the marriage covenant. Marriage is God's idea.

God will turn your mess into your message. He will turn your testing into your testimony.
He will make you a blessing to others! God is holding your hand and He is with you every step of the way.

The very first thing that God did after creating man is to bless him (without condition). His heart is to bless us. We have a good God. God's heart is to bless the family unit of man and the marriage of man.

We cannot live life by our feelings. Sometimes we cannot feel Him or His presence.
But the truth is that even right now, God is loving you.

When two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, Jesus is right there in the midst of them.
Because Jesus is here, we can receive. Let your faith arise.
Let us be conscious of His presence that He is always with us.

Jesus is in us - Christ in us the hope of glory.

God wants us to enjoy days of heaven on earth in our marriage.
Many people are going through divorces and they are not happy in their marriages.
However with the blessing of God, we can be happy in our marriages.

In His very first miracle, Jesus turned six water pots of water into the best, intoxicating wine.
A marriage without Jesus begins like wine - intoxicating and great - and ends up diluted like water.
Sometimes it even becomes like the bitter waters of Mara.

Jesus created marriage, so He knows how to turn the water of our marriage into sweet, intoxicating wine.
This is not contingent on us. It is contingent on Jesus.
What we need in our marriage is His blessings. Ask Him to bless you.
Look to Him! Only He can turn water into wine.
In the end, what we need is the transformation of our hearts. When our hearts are transformed, the right behavior will follow.

Ephesians 5:25-29 - This is an imperative, but it is not a command like in the Old Testament.
We can only love if we know and understand what Jesus has done for us.
We can't make ourselves love our wives. We have to receive the love from the Lord. We love because Jesus loves us.
How do we bear fruit? Do we focus on bearing fruit? No.
We bear fruit by exposing ourselves to the sunshine of God's love, by watering ourselves with God's word, and by receiving the nutrients of His grace.
When we cast our self-righteousness (Paul describes "self righteousness" in the epistle to the Philippians as dung) away, we will bear fruit.
God's word washes and cleanses us. His word makes us glorious, spotless and without wrinkle. It makes us literally young.


Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.” ‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭5:25-29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jesus created marriage, so He knows how to turn the water of our marriage into sweet, intoxicating wine. This is not contingent on us. It is contingent on Jesus. What we need in our marriage is His blessings. Ask Him to bless you. Look to Him! Only He can turn water into wine.

Every married person should pray for this: "Lord, transform my heart!". Don't pray for your spouse to be changed. 
When we try to change ourselves, it doesn't work. The secret of true, lasting transformation is to receive God's love and grace for ourselves despite all our failures. 
When we receive the love of God, we will manifest the fruits of the Spirit. 
When we experience God's love, we will want to do what is right. Grace transforms our hearts.

Jesus went through Samaria and spoke to the woman by the well who was living in sin and immorality, but He did not once correct or condemn her. 
Jesus dealt with her with grace and showed her His love. That woman became an evangelist for God.

Jesus met Zacchaeus the tax collector and extended grace to him without correcting or condemning him, and it led Zacchaeus to open up his house, his heart and his wallet.

Ephesians 4:32 - When Jesus said that we must forgive others if not God will not forgive us, He was lifting the Law to its pristine standard. 
That was under the Old Covenant, that was not the gospel. However there has been a change in the New Testament. 
When we understand who we are in Christ, we become that. 
When we know and understand that God has already forgiven us, we have the power to forgive others.


“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭NKJV‬)

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law. There are no more curses, only blessings for us!

Song of Solomon 1:15 - God sees us as beautiful. Let these words of God fill you with His love for you.

“" How beautiful you are, my darling, How beautiful you are! Your eyes are like doves."” (‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

Song of Solomon 4:7 - What we cannot wash off in ourselves, Jesus' blood already did.

“"You are altogether beautiful, my darling, And there is no blemish in you.” (‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

Song of Solomon 1:8 - God sees you as the most beautiful of all! You are not the second runner-up or first runner-up in the beauty paegent, you are the WINNER!

“" If you yourself do not know, Most beautiful among women, Go forth on the trail of the flock And pasture your young goats By the tents of the shepherds.” ‭‭(Song of Solomon‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

Song of Solomon 4:9 - God doesn't want eternity without us. That's why He sent His Son to die for us.

“"You have made my heart beat faster, my sister, my bride; You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, With a single strand of your necklace.” ‭(‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭NASB‬‬)

Olea Essence Review: Olive Oil Nutrition from the Holy Land of Israel!


Christmas is coming again, and once again the holy land of Israel, God's beloved nation, the apple of His eye, is becoming the focus as we remember Jesus' first coming to earth as a baby. 

Two years ago in December 2014, my wife Amilee Kang and I went on a pilgrimage to Israel, to walk in God's Holy Land and to see the Bible come to life before our very eyes!

During that trip, one of the places we visited was the "Olea Essence" Visitor Center.

We explain the process starting with olive harvesting through olive oil pressing all the way to olive oil based fully natural skin care production. The tour includes a short film. This is exactly what we experienced there, and we totally enjoyed our time spent there, learning more about the fantastic benefits of olive oil nutrition!

This is where they process the Olea Essence "Eco Olea" line of cleaners. It was also here where we were given a demonstration of the cleansing, smoothening, polishing, and exfoliating effects of olive pits residue. We fell in love with the "Olive Wash and Exfoliate" here!!

Here we learnt about the different grades of olive oil, and this one in the photo is extra virgin olive oil if i'm not wrong. We were given the opportunity to taste it directly from a spoon.

​At the Olea Essence shop, we bought many products to bring home - what I vividly remember are the extra virgin olive oils for cooking, the spices, and especially the "Olive Wash and Exfoliate" which we found so amazing because during the tour, the guide allowed us to try it on our hands and our jewelry, and what happened was that our hands became baby soft and smooth, and our jewelry were polished until it shone and were sparklingly clean! 

Here's a video demonstration of me using the Olive wash on our rings - see how they started off as dull without any shine, and after the quick polishing, they became so sparkly and beautiful! What a miraculous product! LOVE IT! 



It's been two years since our trip to Israel, and the products that we bought from Olea Essence were running low on supply, and we were super sad, thinking that we could only get more of them when we went back to Israel (yes we want to go back and experience it again. We love Israel!)

To open the tour of the Olea Essence Visitor Center, the guide encouraged us to first wash our hands with the "Olea Essence Olive Wash & Exfoliate", and he casually mentioned that we should leave our jewelry on and to watch the 'magic' happen. 
To our amazement, on top of our hands becoming baby soft and smooth, our jewelry looked as though they were polished in a professional jewlery store!
We could hear people around us exclaiming "Wow!", "Oooh!", "Aaaah!" in amazement.
From that point on, everyone in the tour group was instantly converted into a believer of the wonders of olive products and became attentive to what the guide was saying!

China is receiving the gospel. Believers in China have a heart to bring the gospel back to Jerusalem.

Wherever the gospel goes, civilization is transformed.

Jesus is our only Way out of our troubles. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Jesus' body was broken for us so that we may be whole. We partake of His body through the Holy Communion.

It is possible to have right believing in one area of our life and wrong believing in another area.
For example: A person can believe in healing but have the wrong mentality that God wants him/her to be poor.


To rest doesn't mean doing nothing. To rest means to listen and feed on God's word.

In these end times, things are accelerating like water being turned into wine.
If you have a problem in your life, the best thing you can do is to feed on God's word.

When you have an encounter with the Lord Jesus, you will be totally transformed.

Christ Jesus is God's "yes" to humanity's need. Jesus was cursed so that we can be blessed.

I Corinthians 12:1 - The word "gifts" in the verse was added. It's not in the original.
God doesn't want us to be ignorant about the spiritual realm.


Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:” ‭‭(I Corinthians‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Born-again in Greek means "born from above". We must see ourselves in God's Son.

Colossians 1:14 - We must know that we have been transferred into Jesus' kingdom.

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,” ‭‭(Colossians‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭NKJV‬)

Matthew 23:25-26 - We try to change our external habits to change ourselves, but it is more important to be changed inside first.
When our inside is changed, the outside will be changed too.


““Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭23:25-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Romans 11:16 - If the root is holy, the branches will be holy too. If we are transformed inside, the outside will be transformed too.

“For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.” ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭11:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The Law causes people to be distant from each other, but grace has come to bring us closer.

Romans 7:18 - By our own strength, we find that we have the intention to do what is right but we don't have the ability to do it.

“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭7:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jeremiah 17:7-8 - We cannot change the bad fruits that we are producing in our lives except by being planted by the waters, which is the word of God.
We must keep on hearing the word of God. A spirit of fear is not from the Lord.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love, of power and of a sound mind.


““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” ‭‭(Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jeremiah 23:4 - The nutrient for sin to grow big is condemnation. We cannot change ourselves. We can only be changed by listening and feeding on God's word.

I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the LORD.” ‭‭(Jeremiah‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jeremiah 23:5-6 - We need to overcome the devil's accusations by declaring and knowing that the Lord is our righteousness.
We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!


““Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” (‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When you keep on receiving the word of God, the outflow is life!

The Law kills the person together with the sin, leading to the sinful habit growing bigger and bigger. 
Grace deals with the person and the sin separately, leading to the person successfully overcoming the sinful habit. 
God condemns your sin to the cross.


The only way to overcome a bad temper is by receiving grace.

When you do wrong, don't demand forgiveness from your loved ones. 
Your forgiveness must come from the cross first. 
When you know that Jesus has paid for your sins at the cross, you become thankful. 
When you're thankful, you enter into peace. 
With that peace, you're able to take the initiative to apologise first and to seek the other person's forgiveness.


Hebrews 4:15 - Jesus understands how you feel. Come to Jesus at your point of weakness. 
How can you have the power to overcome temptation if you do not come to Him?


For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John 16:33 - At the point of your lack, be of good cheer! 
God has already seen your need before it happened and already provided a superabundant supply of what you need. 
Jesus has already overcome everything for you at the cross.


“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” (John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Our children can only see us, and through seeing us they can see the Lord.

Deuteronomy 28:2 - The Hebrew word for "obey" is "shamar" which means "to hear". 
Our part is just to keep on hearing God's word, and all of God's blessings will come upon us and overtake us!


And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:” ‭(‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Grace mentality always separates the person from the sin. 
Look at the cross and receive God's gift of righteousness and you will surely reign in life.

Kenko Reflexology & Spa at Marina Square in Singapore  (My Review and Experience)

Looking for a good spa or massage in Singapore?

Thanks to the invitation by Starngage , I was able to enjoy the "Simply Bliss" spa therapy at Kenko Reflexology & Spa (Kenko) at Marina Square #01-211 (Conveniently located within walking distance from Promenade MRT station - take Exit A and get to Marina Square by crossing the linkway from Millenia Walk).

With the "Simply Bliss" package, you are entitled to a 30 minute Bath + a 1 hour Body Massage -
You can enjoy a pampering massage and a long soak in your choice of bath to indulgently relax your body, mind and soul and watch as all the stress melts away.

When I entered the Kenko outlet at Marina Square, I immediately felt very relaxed due to the atmosphere in the space, and also because of the calming smell of essential oils in the air.

I was then politely greeted by the front desk staff who introduced me to the therapist who would be doing the massage for me.

A private area for massage for couples and VIPs - sort of a VIP area. It is also used when the massage chairs inside are all occupied.

I was then led into a private room for my 1 hour body massage.

The room is beautifully-decorated - it feels very 'zen' and peaceful. The relaxing background music playing at the right volume also helped to soothe me further.


After changing into the shorts that they prepared for me, I was told to lie face-down on the massage bed.

I especially loved that the massage bed can be heated to a very warm and comfortable temperature, which is much better than lying on a cold bed while barechested!

The therapist who did the massage was very polite and even introduced herself saying, "My name is Ching. Nice to meet you." To me that's great service because it's very personable!


Ching was very attentive to my needs, constantly asking "Is this pressure okay?", "Is this too hard/too soft?" to make sure that the massage was meeting my expectations. She is very skillful and strong and was able to knead all the aches and pains on my body away.

I literally felt all the stiff muscles ( from carrying my baby daughter Maeleth Sarah Goh ) in my body getting the ultimate relaxation!

When the body massage was about three quarters done, Ching asked me if I would prefer hot or warm water for the milk bath that was to be done after the body massage.
I chose hot water as I normally bathe with hot water and I enjoy soaking in hot springs overseas.

She went to run the bath and came back to complete the body massage. After the amazing body massage, I was so relaxed that I felt sleepy and I could have dozed off right there.

Ching then told me that the body massage was completed and guided me to the bath area to have my milk bath.

Before leaving, she put a little alarm clock near the bathtub for me to be able to keep track of the time, and told me to enjoy the milk bath and that I could use the shower area to shower my body after the milk bath.

In totally privacy, I soaked in the hot milk bath, and felt my skin being luxuriously moisturised, becoming soft and supple.

After enjoying the milk bath, I changed and immediately took a taxi home because Baby Maeleth needed me to quickly return home to feed her and to pat her to sleep -
currently I'm the only one who can do both consistently.

I love that the taxi stand is located right outside the Kenko outlet, making it very convenient to get there and to go home/go somewhere else.

​So all in all, I totally enjoyed my "Simply Bliss" spa therapy experience at Kenko Reflexology & Spa at Marina Square!!

25 December 2016 - Al-Tirah: Living A Fear-Free Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." - (Isaiah 9:6, NKJV)

Luke 7:36-50 - The woman with the alabaster box of ointment had a questionable career. Every time she went to work as a prostitute, she lost a bit of her soul.
When Jesus was a guest in Simon the Pharisee's house, the woman "bedewed" Jesus' feet with her tears and wiped His feet with her hair.
The ointment she bought was very expensive, but she poured it all onto Jesus' feet.
Jesus spoke a parable to Simon the Pharisee in terms of what he understood best - money.
Simon loved Jesus little, because he thought he was forgiven little. The woman loved Jesus much because she knew that she was forgiven much.
Jesus told her "your faith has saved you". It's not our works that saves us, it's our faith in Jesus.

“Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” So he said, “Teacher, say it.” “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”” ‭(‭Luke‬ ‭7:36-50‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jesus did not begin existing in the virgin Mary's womb. He existed with the Father since the beginning.
There are no three Gods. There is only one God.
The Lord our God is one. "One" can mean a single God, and it can also mean the united God.

If you are worried or troubled, remember that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. The peace He gives is an aggressive peace.
Even in the midst of your trouble, you can have His peace.
The night before Jesus was crucified, Jesus said "My peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you."
The peace Jesus gives us is not the false peace that the world has. It is true peace.

Luke 1:11-13 - "Al-tirah" in Hebrew means "fear not". If a citizen of heaven, an angel, comes from a place where there is peace, no death, and no decay, what would he say? What would his message be?
The Christmas story tells us that when the angel Gabriel came to Zechariah, he told him, "do not be afraid".
It's beautiful how Hebrew names carry lots of meaning - The name "Zechariah" means "God remembers" - don't be afraid, God remembers!
We are fearing something all the time, but the message from heaven is al-tirah, do not be afraid!
All of us believers have favor with God.

“Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:11-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)


Simon the Pharisee thought he was righteous. He was righteous by human's standard - externally.
But when you look at his heart, it's full of sin. Actually all of us have broken the Ten Commandments.
You may say: "I have never murdered anyone!" But have you ever wished evil upon your boss/relative/loved one?
You may say: "I have never slept with anyone outside my marriage!" But have you ever mentally undressed someone else? 
We all put the Ten Commandments outside, but God puts it inside.
The Ten Commandments is not for us to keep to be righteous. It is a mirror to show us our sinfulness, and our need for a Savior.
Yet the message to sinners is al-tirah, do not be afraid! For it is born to us this day in the city of David, a Savior!
Not a Lawgiver like Moses, but a Savior, and His name is Jesus. When man was still in his sin, God said al-tirah.

"Al-tirah" in Hebrew means "fear not". If a citizen of heaven, an angel, comes from a place where there is peace, no death, and no decay, what would he say? What would his message be? The Christmas story tells us that when the angel Gabriel came to Zechariah, he told him, "do not be afraid". It's beautiful how Hebrew names carry lots of meaning - The name "Zechariah" means "God remembers" - don't be afraid, God remembers! We are fearing something all the time, but the message from heaven is al-tirah, do not be afraid! All of us believers have favor with God.

​In the place near where Rachel died, the temple flock of sheep was kept in that area.
Shepherds watched over that flock. Those sheep were bred to be sacrificed at the temple.
God was the first One to kill an innocent animal to cover Adam and Eve's sins.
Our good works can never atone for our sins. Without the shedding of blood, there can never be the forgiveness of sins.
The sacrifice of animals is God's visual aid to man - it represents Jesus' blood shed on the cross for us. 
Only the perfect sacrifice of the Messiah can cleanse us of all our sins.

The children of Israel's sins can be covered by the sacrificing of sheep because it's substitution. The innocent animal dies in place of the sinner.
God knows that there is no goodness in our flesh. Sometimes we need to go through the school of hard knocks before we know how weak and bad we are.

God chose the lamb as a visual aid because it typifies Jesus. The animal must represent Him. The lamb must be without blemish.
When the sinner lays his hands upon the sacrificial lamb, that's called identification- identifying with the righteous lamb.
God cannot provide for you, bless you and keep you in good health without the atonement of your sins. So the lamb is provided as an atonement.
All the sins of the sinner are transferred to the lamb and the lamb is killed in place of the sinner.

All the blood of sacrificial animals slain on Jewish altars can only cover sins year after year, but they can never take away sins.
It's like a credit card, it is not a true payment.
What the lamb deserves (blessings, grace and favor), the sinner gets, what the sinner deserves (death), the lamb gets.

John 8:3-11 - Jesus is the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world. The Pharisees examined Jesus the Lamb for one whole week.
They tried to catch Jesus in His words - they asked must they pay taxes to Caesar?
They threw a woman caught in the act of adultery at Jesus' feet and tested Jesus to see what He would do.
They were not trying to uphold God's law. They were trying to catch Jesus.
The Bible says that Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground made of stone with His finger.
When God first wrote the Ten Commandments, He wrote it with His finger on stones.
Jesus wrote on stone as if to say - "You presume to tell Me about the Law when I was the One who wrote the Law? Let me give you the full light of the Law!"
Jesus brought the Law to its pristine standard. In fact, Jesus said stone the woman, but the one without sin should throw the first stone.
The Pharisees would stone her, but they could not. Jesus could stone her, but He would not.
Jesus did not compromise the Law. One by one the Pharisees left, leaving the woman alone with her Savior.
Jesus said "neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more". God wants us to know that we have the gift of condemnation.
Only when people know that there's no condemnation from God, then can they have the power to go and sin no more.
Unfortunately the church has got it in reverse - they preach that believers should go and sin no more first and then they will not be condemned.

“Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”” (‭‭John‬ ‭8:3-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)


Jesus hanging on the cross is not an accident. God planned for it - He foreknew it.
God has already gone to 2017 and came back for us.
He wants to lead us by the hand through the new year.

God sees us as much more valuable than birds. If God feeds and provides for the birds of the air, will He not much more provide for us?

Luke 2:8-15 - On the night of Jesus' birth, the angel said al-tirah to the shepherds, and a company of angels appeared to them.
The message is always first do not be afraid.
The brightness of the angels' appearing made the night become like the day.
When Jesus hung there on the cross, midday became dark like midnight, so that we can always walk in the light.

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.”” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭2:8-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

No one took Jesus' life from Him. He laid down His life.
One time the Roman soldiers came to arrest Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, and when they asked for Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus said "I AM", and all the soldiers fell.
"I AM" is the name of God when He appeared to Moses in the burning bush.
Nowadays we are tired, but God will supply the fire to us such that we will not be burnt up or consumed.

Jesus laid down on the cross when He was to be nailed to the cross. No wonder the Roman centurion marveled when he saw Jesus - usually the people being crucified would be crying, struggling, and begging not to be crucified.
When Jesus hung on the cross, darkness covered the land.
It is interesting that China (it existed in Jesus' time) recorded in their annals of history that there was a worldwide eclipse at midday exactly at the time when Jesus hung on the cross.

One of God's names is Counsellor. He can give you advice and bring things to your attention that you would not have noticed or be able to know on your own.

Jesus for the first time, at the cross, cried out "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?".
He always called God His Father, except at the cross.
He cry out as such not because He didn't know why God forsook Him, but He said it for our benefit -
for us to know that Jesus called God "My God" to so that we can call God "My Father".
Jesus was scourged with the cat-o-nine-tails (a brutal whip with shards of glass and other sharp objects that fastens into the skin and rips it out when pulled out).
Why was He hit? So that by His stripes, we would be healed.
All that Jesus deserves - all the favor and blessings, is transferred to us, if we would but receive them.

What Jesus did at the cross fully met all the righteous demands of a Thrice-Holy God. Our sins were fully paid for.
Jesus positioned His head in a bowed position and He dismissed His spirit. That's power.
His head did not drop, He positioned it for death.
Jesus announced "Finished!" and it means that the devil is defeated.

God lives outside of time. He created time. God is able to go to the future and lay all our sins upon Jesus at the cross.
God sees the entire parade, whereas we only see a portion of it.

Now God can unleash His love upon us. Our sins were fully paid for in the body of Jesus Christ.
He cannot punish us for our sins twice. In the courts of Law, it's called "The Law of Double Jeopardy": The same crime cannot be tried twice.

The woman with the alabaster jar of ointment (whose soul was lost little by little every time she lay down with an unknown man to be intimate) was restored. When God restores it's never like the way man restores. When man restores, it's never as good as the original state.
When God restores, it's always greater in quality and greater in quantity. Where sin abounds, grace superabounds!

A dying prophet, Elisha told the one who was going to be king to hit the arrow on the ground.
He hit it three times on the ground and Elisha said "What are you doing? Now you only have three victories" - He should keep hitting it on the ground repeatedly.
Man always limits God and doesn't receive the fullnesss of what God has for him.
Jesus multiplied the loaves and there were 12 basketfuls of loaves leftover.
The people all ate until they were satisfied.
God's supply is always more than the demand. God's supply for 2017 is greater than your demand.

Man can disappoint you, but Jesus cannot disappoint you. We are disappointed when we take our eyes off Him and look at our circumstances.

In Israel, the sacrificial lamb would be killed at 9am (morning sacrifice) and at 3pm (evening sacrifice). Jesus fulfilled both.

Grace means no demands, but only supply. When we are asked by God to do something, He will supply us the grace to do it.
All God asks is for us to allow Him to love us.

Stop trying to be your own Savior. When God provides, it's perfect.
He gave us His Son and Jesus died for us on the cross, so that all our sins are forgiven.
The things of God are simple, but powerful.

Pastor Joseph Prince prayed that 2017 will be a year where we keep receiving from God.
How can you be a blessing if you don't receive from God first?
On a flight, they always make the announcement that in an emergency, please put on your oxygen mask first before you attend to your children.
How can you attend to your children if you are knocked unconscious?
You must receive first before you can be a blessing to others.

Pastor Prince prayed that we would all receive our three prayer requests for 2017 (this is a culture in New Creation Church to present three prayer requests to God at the end or beginning of the new year).
The cross is not the source of God's goodness, it is an expression of His goodness.
When we approach God's throne of grace, all the things we don't deserve, we get, because of grace.
The only reason God wants our prayers to be answered is so that our joy may be full. He wants us to be full of joy.

Jesus said that Israel would be under the foot of the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles was fulfilled.

God meant to rule the earth through Israel, but they sinned against God, especially in the sin of idolatry.
Although Israel sinned, the sacrifices offered at the temple covered their sins year by year.


1917 was a year of Jubilee - General Allenby marched into Jerusalem and the Turks surrendered and not a bullet was fired.
The call was made for all the Jews to return to Israel in 1917. The call was not heeded well.


We are the '11th hour generation'. This generation is the most blessed of all generations.

1967 was also a year of Jubilee - After the Six Day War, Israel got back more land, including Jerusalem. This is fulfilling Bible prophecy after 2000 years.

2017 - The latest year of Jubilee. It's going to be a great year!

Leviticus 25:9-10 - Exactly at 3pm, the trumpet at the Temple was sounded when Jesus died on the cross.
Pastor Prince's prophetic words: 2017 may begin with troubles, but you should expect the free favors of God to abound this year.


Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.” ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭25:9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

As we look forward to the Lord Jesus coming back for us, the Rapture will come very soon.
We are the generation that has seen Israel come back as a nation.
However we do not know the day or the hour where Jesus is coming back, but we can know the times and seasons.
The Greek word for the Rapture is "harpazo" which means "a snatching away".
In Israel, they practice "snatching the bride". The bride doesn't know the day or hour that the groom will come to get her.
The groom in the meantime will be preparing a home for them.
But she knows the season, and when to start dressing up.
The Rapture is nothing more than believers receiving the final possession that Jesus died to give us - a new spiritual body.
We will not be like Casper the Ghost floating around, but we will be forever young, forever healthy, and never tired.
We will be able to travel at the speed of light - how fast will you go when you know you cannot die?


Hebrews 2:14-16 - The fear of death is the mother of all fears. A lot of fears can be traced back to the fear of death.
For example: Someone afraid of flying is actually afraid that the plane would crash and that they would die.
Someone afraid of operations is afraid that the operation would fail and that they would die.
The very first area that God wants to declare Jubilee in our lives is freedom from the fear of death.
Who is the "seed of Abraham" - Those who believe in Jesus and in God.
People instinctively know that there is life after death, but not everyone knows that the sin debt issue has been settled by Jesus' death on the cross.
When believers hearts are not established on the word of God, they can be subject to the fear of death throughout their lives.
Believers don't die, they fall asleep. When they step out of their body, they feel even more alive than before.
The Son of God became the Son of Man Who has a body so that He could die for us.
Jesus was not born by Mary, He already existed with God since the beginning.
He took off His royal robes and stepped into the virgin's womb.
God stepped into time and became a real Man so that He could die.
The devil is jealous of man because God gives aid to man, but not to the fallen angels.


“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭2:14-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 14:12-15 - We are caught in the battle of the ages. Long before God created man, He created angels.
Angels have hierarchies. Evil spirits have hierarchies too, from low level evil spirits all the way to the devil himself.
Originally the devil was Lucifer, the highest of all angels.
The highest-ranking angels are called cherubs. They are powerful angels, not cute flying babies in diapers holding harps.
​God does not cause death. He considers death as an enemy. Tsunamis, earthquakes and disasters are not caused by God. They are caused by the devil.
"Stars of God" in the verse below refers to the angels. Lucifer wanted to usurp the throne of God.


““How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭14:12-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

We are caught in the battle of the ages. Long before God created man, He created angels. Angels have hierarchies. Evil spirits have hierarchies too, from low level evil spirits all the way to the devil himself. Originally the devil was Lucifer, the highest of all angels.

Ezekiel 28:14-15 - Halfway through the chapter, God is speaking to the king of Tyre who is the evil spirit behind the kingdom of Tyre, who is the devil himself.
Prostitution is the work of low-level demons. The work of the devil is in making false preachers behind the pulpit who glorify human morality, human works, and not even once is the name Jesus mentioned.
Lucifer was created with the anointing to protect and enforce God's righteousness.
Lucifer walked back and forth enforcing God's righteousness and pride entered his heart. 
In a perverted way, the devil still enforces God's righteousness today - he comes using the Law to accuse you, to tell you where you have fallen short.
The devil is prideful. Jesus is the opposite: He humbled Himself as a Servant. If you humble yourself, God will definitely lift you up.


““You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.” (‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭28:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

God does things in threes. God introduced Himself as The God "who was, who is, and who is to come".
The Holy Trinity is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We are created in three parts: the spirit, the soul, and the body.
Angels have a tripartite too: Archangel Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer (in the past, now fallen).
These three archangels were created to be the guardians of God's throne.
Mary saw two angels in Jesus' tomb after He was resurrected - such a glorious occasion, it cannot be just any two angels - it must be the two archangels, Michael and Gabriel.
Angels are real - In Psalm 91, God says that He will send angels to bear you up and to keep you in all your ways.


Lucifer slandered God and convinced one-third of the angels to join his cause to rebel against God.
David's son Absalom was the most beautiful man in Israel, and there was not a flaw from the top of his head to the soles of his feet.
He charmed the populace and caused rebellion against King David. Absalom was energized and powered by the devil himself.
Thank God that two thirds of the angels are with us, on our side.


Job 1:7-8 - Whenever God asks a question, He already knows the answer.
He asks it for the benefit of the one that he is asking.
Satan refuses to admit that he is fallen. He still thinks he's enforcing God's righteousness and that he is still a guardian of God's holiness.
He is still walking back and forth, checking who has been unrighteous to enforce the sentence of death upon them.
Satan still thinks he can take God's throne and be God.


“And the LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?””‭‭(Job‬ ‭1:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬)

There was a flood on the earth before the flood during Noah's time.
The devil operated from this place called earth. Right smack where the devil operates, God made man.
God made man from the dust of the earth, perhaps to keep us humble. God made man a little lower than angels.


Psalm 89:14 - When God created man and planted the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the devil tempted man to eat from the tree, not so much to attack man, but to attack God.
The devil wanted to make God do something unrighteous in His love for man (perhaps by preventing man from dying or to stop man from eating from the tree), to compromise His justice.
The devil believes that if that happens, the throne would go to him.
The devil believed that he got God caught in a dilemma: God cannot compromise on His righteousness by saving Adam without a righteous basis, and because God couldn't perform His heart's desire, He wasn't like a king.
God loves mercy and truth.


Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throneMercy and truth go before Your face.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Daniel 6:7-16 - King Darius loved Daniel the most out of all the governors.
When the satrap said "all" the governors, King Darius thought that Daniel was part of the plan as well, and that's why he approved it.
In this story, King Darius represents God, Daniel represents us, and the satraps represent the devil and his cohorts.
Here in this part of the story, the love of the king was powerless against the law.


All the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and satraps, the counselors and advisors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree, that whoever petitions any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions. Now, O king, establish the decree and sign the writing, so that it cannot be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.” Therefore King Darius signed the written decree. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days. Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. And they went before the king, and spoke concerning the king’s decree: “Have you not signed a decree that every man who petitions any god or man within thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered and said, “The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.” So they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, does not show due regard for you, O king, or for the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.” And the king, when he heard these words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him. Then these men approached the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is the law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed.” So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.”” ‭‭(Daniel‬ ‭6:7-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Micah 6:8 - God is saying to leadership: always exact justice, but have your heart loving mercy.
Don't love justice and do justice.


“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” ‭‭(Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When God created man and planted the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the devil tempted man to eat from the tree, not so much to attack man, but to attack God. The devil wanted to make God do something unrighteous in His love for man (perhaps by preventing man from dying or to stop man from eating from the tree), to compromise His justice. The devil believes that if that happens, the throne would go to him.

John 8:3-12 - The Pharisees were not so much interested in upholding God's Law, if not they would have stoned the woman where she was caught. There were many stones in Israel. 
Their purpose was to catch Jesus doing something that compromised God's Law. 
Similarly, the devil is not so much interested in attacking us as compared to attack God's throne. 
The devil's purpose is to put God in a dilemma, to see how He can be righteous and yet be merciful. 
Jesus was not pressured by the Pharisees' repeated questioning. The devil likes to drive and push people. The Holy Spirit leads us. 
Don't make decisions based on time. Don't be hasty in making decisions. If you're being forced to decide now, just say you're not going to make a decision right now. 
The devil's name "Satan" means "The Accuser". 
In the incident of King Darius and Daniel, we see love powerless against the law. 
Here in this incident we see the Law powerless against love. 
By calling Himself "the light of the world", Jesus is saying that the light that He brings is not to reveal all your imperfections to condemn you, but it is to show the glorious work of perfecting you in your life.

And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”” (‭‭John‬ ‭8:3-12 ‭NKJV‬‬)

Romans 3:24-26 - The cross is the righteous basis for God to pass over the sins of Israel that were covered year after year, for Jesus to pass over the sin of the woman caught in the act of adultery, and for Jesus to open the blind man's eyes, etc - 
Jesus was going to pay for all their sins by dying at the cross. 
The 'crowning achievement' of the devil's accusations is that they are based on truth and facts - 
he accuses you when you sin, saying that the rooster will come back to roost and that your sin will find you out. 
However not everyone knows that Jesus has already paid the price for all their sins.


“being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭3:24-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Hebrew 2:14-16 - Before Jesus died, the devil had the power of death because he had the power of the Law behind him. 
The word "destroy" here is "Katargeo" which means to nullify. 
We are not afraid of the devil anymore because we have already died, but it is by Someone dying in our place (Jesus). 
The power of the Law can only follow one until death, but beyond death it has no power.


“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭2:14-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 54:17 - The most Christ-exalting thing you can say today is "I am the righteousness of God in Christ". 
If you say "I'm so sinful and I deserve death" as a believer, you are dishonoring the work of Jesus on the cross. You are saying that Jesus' work is not finished.


“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The devil's mouth is now shut. He never believed that God would love us so much that He would send His Son to die for us. 
The devil cannot deny that Jesus' blood was shed on the cross.

My Nasty and Enjoyable Wisdom Tooth Extraction and Surgery Experiences at National Dental Centre in Singapore


So on my annual dental check up last year, the dentist had an X-ray done to check my teeth, and it turns out that I was advised to have wisdom tooth extraction and surgery done on all four of my wisdom teeth.

My upper left and right wisdom teeth grew out nicely, but my bottom left and right wisdom teeth were impacted, which means they were growing out in a direction that would collide with neighboring teeth.

For normal wisdom teeth, you can have them extracted normally by the dentist with pliers.
But for impacted wisdom teeth, you have to undergo wisdom tooth surgery which involves the dentist drilling the wisdom tooth down the center before using force to break the tooth into parts and removing the parts one by one (sounds scary, but it should be painless).

Apparently wisdom teeth have no real purpose and leaving them there your mouth just makes brushing and flossing difficult, and occasionally your biting and chewing motions would cause ulcerations on your gums due to how far back the teeth are in your mouth.

I did this dental checkup at a private dental clinic near my house, but the cost of the wisdom tooth extraction and surgery offered there was too high in my opinion.

So what I did was make an appointment to have another dental checkup at Bedok Singhealth Polyclinic, and there I was given a referral letter and also an appointment date to have my wisdom teeth checked out at National Dental Centre (located at Singapore General Hospital - nearest MRT is Outram Park, about 10 mins walking distance).

The reason why I went to the Polyclinic is because if you have a referral letter from them, you can get a government subsidy on wisdom tooth extraction and surgery at National Dental Centre, and the savings are significant. 
I used my Medisave to fully pay for the procedures - no cash was needed - it cost around S$600+ for one upper wisdom tooth extraction and one bottom wisdom tooth surgery. So in total, all four wisdom teeth cost me around only S$1300, as compared to much higher costs at private dental clinics.

I ended up getting my upper two wisdom teeth extracted and the bottom two impacted wisdom teeth surgically-removed at National Dental Centre. 
I did this on two occasions: the first time on 17th Nov 2016, I underwent wisdom teeth extraction and surgery on the two wisdom teeth on the right side of my mouth. 
The second time on 6th Jan 2017, I underwent wisdom teeth extraction and surgery on the two wisdom teeth on the left side of my mouth.

I chose to split it up to two occasions so that I could have one side of my mouth still available to chew food while the other side was recovering from surgery. This strategy worked out well.

During the first time on 17th Nov 2016, because the dentist called Dr Rahul didn't inject enough local anesthesia into my gums, I actually felt the pain when the dentist drilled my bottom right wisdom tooth. 
It didn't help that that wisdom tooth was located near a nerve, so the pain was amplified! MAJOR OUCH!

The needle used for injecting the anesthesia is HUGE by the way. The injections (I remember it being around four times) is actually the most painful part of the surgery. 
After the injections, the dentist left me there on the chair to rest and wait to let the medicine take effect. 
The numbness is quite an annoying feeling because you end up not being able to talk properly for a few hours and your tongue and lips feel swollen and weird.

The upper right wisdom tooth was removed very swiftly with no pain experienced at all.

I was then prescribed some medicine to collect at the Pharmacy downstairs: Two different types of painkiller pills with differing strengths, antibiotic pills (must finish all), a pill that creates a barrier to protect the stomach lining from the negative effects of the medicines, and a medicinal mouthwash ("President" brand - made in Italy).

I have one regret after the surgery that I want to share about. I didn't take the prescribed painkiller called Arcoxia early enough! 
After the surgery, my wife Amilee and I went to visit our friends who just had a baby at Singapore General Hospital. 
I was cocky and said that my mouth felt nothing (because the local anesthesia had not worn off yet). 
But as we were leaving the Ward after seeing the adorable newborn baby girl, the sharpest, nasty and raw pain hit me in the right side of my mouth, and it was constantly there, never going away!

I realized that the anesthesia had worn off and that I had to quickly take the painkillers to numb the pain. 
By the time the painkiller effect had kicked in, I was so spent and tired from enduring the unbelievable pain in my mouth.

I was able to eat lukewarm porridge that day for dinner using the teeth on the left side of my mouth to chew. 
The bleeding from the wounds had stopped rather quickly on the same day.

The photo on Instagram that I posted shows some snapshots from my first surgery experience. 
The caption says that I experienced completely no pain, but that was because I posted this before the pain kicked in haha!

Over the next few days, the sites of the wisdom tooth extraction and surgery on the right side of my mouth healed quickly. 
I religiously took my medicines on time and rinsed my mouth with the prescribed President mouthwash after every meal and before bed to keep the surgery site clean.

Two days after the day of my surgery, we went out to have dinner with my parents at a Chinese restaurant and I was already able to eat all kinds of food, whether hard or soft, hot or cold.

One week after the surgery, I went back for my followup appointment at National Dental Centre and the dentist said that that the wisdom teeth surgery sites were healing well, and she helped to remove the stitches from the bottom right wisdom tooth surgery site.

She then gave me a syringe with an angular needle and told me to use it after every meal to target and flush out the food particles that gets stuck in the bottom right wisdom tooth surgery site (as it's a concave open wound that's recovering).

I read a reply on a forum online by a dentist (or so he claims) that it's safe to follow a 333 rule after removing wisdom teeth: 
Eat really soft food for 3 days, keep the wisdom tooth extraction site very clean for 3 weeks, and the wound should heal and close up completely in 3 months. 
So far, that piece of advice has proven true and useful in my experience.

I cleaned the wisdom tooth surgery site (aka the 'hole') religiously after every meal and even brought the syringe with me every time we went out. 
Strangely, it was a satisfying feeling to see the food particles gushing out whenever I pumped a jet stream of water out of the syringe into the 'hole'. 
I guess it's because my mouth feels very clean after doing that.

Now after 2 months from the day of surgery, according to the dentist who checked the 'hole' on the day of my second wisdom tooth extraction and surgery, the 'hole' is healing well and almost closed up already.

The second occasion of wisdom tooth extraction and surgery on 6th Jan 2017 was much smoother.

Because I knew from experience that the local anesthesia administered during my first surgery wasn't enough to fully numb the pain from the drilling, I told the dentist performing my second surgery called Dr William Lim about the pain I experienced during my first surgery.
He then told me that he would top up the anesthesia right before beginning the surgery so as to fully numb the pain.
Thank God it worked perfectly! I didn't feel any pain throughout the whole surgery and extraction of both my upper and bottom left wisdom teeth.
It was TOTALLY PAINLESS! I am very happy with Dr William Lim's skill and my second surgery experience!

I was the prescribed the same medicines.

This time round, I was smarter. As I was unaccompanied for my second surgery, I took a cab home immediately after the surgery.
The moment I reached home, I popped the painkillers. That was probably about an hour plus after the surgery.
The result? I didn't feel any discomfort at all. After the annoying anesthesia numbness and swollen feeling subsided, the painkiller effect was already there to numb the pain. SUCCESS!

The day after the surgery, we went out for dinner with my parents again and I was already able to eat everything except prawns (which apparently cause itchiness at the surgery site so I avoided eating it), including crispy fritters, pork knuckle, and some medium-to-hard foods.
Praise Jesus! I'm sure it is because of the Lord's help that the recovery of my wound is so supernaturally fast.

As I am writing this post now, it is Day 5 after my second surgery, and the swelling on the left side of my face is almost gone, and there's only a tiny bit of bruising remaining.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my wisdom tooth extraction and surgery experience at National Dental Centre in Singapore and would highly recommend anyone who needs to get their wisdom teeth removed to do what I did at National Dental Centre.

You'll save lots of money and hopefully have a great surgery experience too!

1 January 2017 - Vision Sunday: 2017 The Year of Jubilee - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online


In the Old Covenant of the Law, God led man by the hand and led them out of Egypt.
But in the New Covenant of Grace, it's much more intimate. God leads man by the heart.
It's totally dependent on God, not on man.

God works with numbers, years and days.
He has special days in Ancient Israel that serves as visual aids for His people.
The first Passover was a visual aid for Israel. Since then, Israel has been observing it every year.
But when Jesus came, He was the fulfillment of what the visual aid was pointing to.
Jesus died on Passover and rose on the Feast of Firstfruits.
Jesus was born on a feast day as well - the Feast of Tabernacles.
There are seven feasts in Israel.

Why does New Creation Church have a theme of the year?
1) Many times God gives us things ahead of time so that when it happens, we know that it is God.
2) We thank God for His deliverance, miracles and help in our lives.
For example: God protected you from death in a car accident.
God gives us the theme of the year so that when it happens, you can give Him the glory.

The theme of the year also means that God is emphasizing a certain truth for that year.
It doesn't mean that it cannot happen in any other year, but God is emphasizing it in that year.

Don't expect God to speak about everything that's going to happen this year in just one Sunday.

God looks at churches not just as a corporate whole, but also individually.
There are different truths that He gives to individual churches to emphasize each year.

At the beginning of last year, Pastor Prince prophesied three words that there would be "floods, fire, and blood".
There were deadly floods in 2016.
Blood: tragic terrorist attacks in the world, one of the worst was in Nice, France.
Fire: Terrible fire in Israel that destroyed many hectares of land -
Because of the fire, even Turkey (who had cold relations with Israel) and Russia sent help to Israel. It turned out for Israel's good because she was isolated before that.
All the Messianic Jews and their properties were safe and unharmed by the fire.

Israel is the centerpiece of God's prophetic timetable.
God so loved the entire world, but God chose Israel so that Israel could demonstrate to the nations what a good God He was.
However instead, Israel failed in her mission.
Israel missed God and rejected their Messiah.
The beautiful thing is that God's love is everlasting.
Even when you're not faithful to God, God is still faithful to you.
Israel is temporarily set aside.

God started saving people out of nations of the world and forming out of both Jews and Gentiles (non-Jew), one body of Christ.
There's no such thing as a Christian nation, there's only Christian people.

In the Old Testament, God wanted Israel to be the prophetic time clock, but Israel failed and God led her into captivity.
It's God's discipline. If they don't want to manifest God's goodness, they will manifest that God is a holy and righteous God.
Israel was taken into captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.
Daniel who was taken captive in Babylon had a vision of a huge golden statue, and how the whole world would be dominated by the Gentiles, beginning with Babylon, then Medo-Persia, Grecians, Romans (when God sent His Son to Israel).
Then a rock not cut with human hands (Jesus) will smash the leg of the golden statue and the time of the Gentiles will end.

Israel rejected Jesus and the kingdom of God was held in abeyance.
If Israel had accepted Jesus as their Messiah, they would be in paradise and the whole world would be blessed.
Because Israel rejected Jesus, in these 2000 years, God has been dealing with the Gentiles and bring out a people for His church. God's now thing is the church.
God is dealing with Israel even now. After 2000 years we see Israel has come back as a nation.

Jesus will return and He will establish His kingdom on earth.
It may happen tonight, this week, it may happen this year! It's a very prophetic year.
Jesus will rule from Israel to bless the entire earth.
There'll be no more sickness and no more disease.
Even the animal kingdom will change its nature.
The Bible says that wolf and the lamb will lie down together.
Children will play near the poisonous snake's home and will not be in danger.
We're looking forward to that day.

That will happen after the seven years tribulation, and we will be Raptured before the seven years tribulation.
The Rapture can happen anytime now.
The Rapture is nothing more than believers receiving a brand new body - you will never grow old, never die, forever young, strong and healthy!
Jesus comes and give us the final piece of the inheritance that He died to give us.
In a twinkling of an eye, we will all be changed.

We're now entering into 2017. Does God know about the Gregorian Calendar? Yes of course He does.
But in the Hebrew calendar, this year is 5777 (3 sevens).

Revelation 13:18 - The Bible says that the number of the antichrist is 666.
When Goliath came against David, his spear was 600 shekels heavy, he had 6 pieces of armor and the final 6 was his cubits.
666 marked Goliath. 6 is the number of man. But 666 is extreme flesh, possessed by the devil.
In fact the Ten toes of the golden statue are ten nations, a revived Roman Empire. From there will come a leader that will promise false peace and will produce false signs and wonders in his hands.
He's the antichrist who will lead the world into Satanic worship.
Jesus will return and destroy this man.

“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” (‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

That's the whole plan of God, before we hear about the year.

2017 is the Year of Jubilee! This theme of the year is for all the believers following Pastor Joseph Prince's ministry.
God is declaring Jubilee for you!


Leviticus 25:8-10 - Jubilee means freedom. Jubilee means every debt is cancelled.
All land will be restored to its original owners.
You will return to your possessions (for example: Maybe you lost your health. You will return to perfect health).
Each one will return to family (for example: an absentee father/husband who is not present will return to his family).
God is going to do something with family life.
It's going to be a year of restoration as well because that's what the Jubilee is all about.
Jubilee is the rest of all rests. It is the great Sabbath of all sabbaths.
Israel operates by the number 7 a lot. God's favorite number is 7.
In the Book of Revelation alone there are 7 spirits of God, 7 churches, 7 angels, 7 trumpets, 7 vials, 7 doom, and 7 seals.
God tells Israel to rest every 7th day.
In fact our bodies work on a 7-days cycle. Our bodies are no longer the same after every 7 years.
So if you're wise, you will know when the day is coming and enter into His rest so that you can let God renew your youth.
Doctors will tell you that in any given illness, the 7th day is a critical day, as well as the 14th day and 21st day. They are called critical days.
Our hearts beat slower on the 7th day than any other day.
So you better rest at least one day out of seven.
Israel has to rest her land on the 7th year, and on the 6th year, God will bless her so much that they don't have to harvest or plant on the 7th year.
They will eat the abundant produce of the previous year.
But when the people of Israel saw how much God blessed their land, they thought that they would get richer if they worked on the 7th year.
They did not keep the 7th Year rest and in fact the opposite happened.
Now it is proven that if a piece of land does not lie fallow for at least one year, it will not be as productive in the following years.
God in His wisdom designed it to be so.
Our bodies are made from the dust of the earth.
We also need a day to rest and vegetate each week.

“‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family." ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭25:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

During the French Revolution, they tried to have only one rest day out of ten days.
They thought that it would make them more productive.
All their animals refuses to work. All nature rebelled against them trying to outsmart God.

Get ready for a great year in 2017!
666 is an evil number. 5777 (this year of 2017 in the Hebrew calendar) is a great number!
This is not numerology. It is scriptural numerics. But God is an excellent Mathematician. He designed everything with numbers.
A hen sits on it's egg for three weeks (21 days - a multiple of 7).
A baby is in its mother's womb for a period of 280 days (a multiple of 7).
There are 7 musical notes in the musical scale.
There are 7 colors in the rainbow.

Genesis 2:1-3 - Finished His work is the first mention of the number 7. 7 means complete. It is the number of completion.
God did not rest because He was tired. He rested because His work was complete.
The word "sanctified" in the verse below in Hebrew is "kadosh" which means "holy".
True holiness is learning to rest in the finished work of Christ.
When Jesus hung on the cross, He said exactly 7 words.
The seventh time the name of Noah was mentioned, it says this
1 is the number of unity.
2 is the number of testimony.
3 is the number of resurrection.
4 is the number of earth - four winds, four soils.
5 is the number of grace.
6 is the number of man.
7 is the number of perfection and completion.
17 is the number of victory - when God called Joseph, he was 17 years old.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to the disciples by the lakeside and told Peter to throw the net on the right side of the boat and when Peter did so, 153 fish were caught.
There are no insignificant details in the Bible. When the Bible mentions numbers, it is to illustrate a truth.
With you, if you work hard, you will have success, but it may not have the 153 stamp on it.
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 + 15 + 16 + 17 = 153
With Jesus, your produce will always be victory. 
In the Hebrew, there are no numbers, only letters.

“Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭2:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In AD 70, General Titus led the Roman Army to raze Jerusalem to the ground.
General Titus commanded his soldiers not to destroy the Temple, but as the soldiers fought, some of the torches of fire fell into the temple and the gold in between the cracks of the stones of the temple melted and started flowing down.
This caused the soldiers to ignore General Titus' command and throw down the stones of the temple to get the gold.
The son of the emperor of Rome said don't destroy the temple, whereas the Son of God (Jesus) said not one stone will be left on another.
Jesus won. Jesus' word always comes to pass. You can be sure that God's prophecies will come to pass.
Today if you go to Israel, you can still see the huge stones that were toppled over.

Because of their rejection of Jesus, in AD70 the Jews were scattered to all the four corners of the earth.
Jesus said that Jerusalem would be under the foot of Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles - the vision of Daniel - were fulfilled.
When did that happen? 1967. The Six Day War.
Jerusalem before that was divided into a No-Man's Land.
Israelis had control of the Western part of Jerusalem.
But the Eastern part where you have the Temple Mount and all the Biblical places that's mentioned was under Jordanian rule. But after the Six Day War, all the land came back to the hands of the Israelis.
Jesus prophesied 2000 years ago that Jerusalem would be under the foot of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled, and we are the generation that saw it.

After Jesus rose from the dead, God still gave Israel a chance to repent.
But they refused and they stoned Steven who was sent to preach the message and finally after 40 years, God let the Roman General Titus come in to conquer Jerusalem.
From AD70 until 1967, which is about 2000 years, Israel had been under the control of Gentiles - the Mamelukes, Ottoman Turks (they had control of Israel for 400 years), until 1917.

1917 was the year that Jerusalem was liberated -
General Allenby (commander of British forces) was brought up by his mother who believed that God would use him and that God was not finished with Israel.
General Allenby marched into Jerusalem and the Ottoman Turks surrendered and not a shot was fired.
General Allenby walked into Jerusalem on foot and his horse was beside him. Why?
He said that if his Lord and Savior rode a donkey into Jerusalem, how could he ride in on a horse?
That was the liberation of Israel.

Exactly 11 months later, in 1918, the armistice ending World War I was signed at 11 o' clock, on the 11th day of November, and in the 11th month (November)!
God is saying that we are now the 11th hour generation -
all those born after that armistice are considered as the 11th hour generation.
This earth is winding up and there will be a New Heaven and New Earth, Hallelujah!

General Allenby made a call for all the Jews to return to Israel in 1917.
When the Jews all over the world observed Passover, there was a custom where they would say "Next year in Jerusalem...".
Yet the call was not heeded well. 1917 was a Jubilee year.
Imagine if they responded to it? There would be no Holocaust for these European Jews.
Many of the Jews were wealthy, established and comfortable where they were.
They didn't know that following God's way of provision and of being truly enriched is the best, so they stayed where they were.

So God waited for another 50 years. 1967.
In 1967, the Six Day War happened.
In the Six Day War, Israel was literally surrounded by her enemies, north, south and east. West is the Mediterranean Sea.
Israel's enemies wanted to push Israel right into the sea.
They laid siege on Israel and Israel fought back.
Israel was massively outnumbered, and yet after six days, they won the war.
This time, they took over east Jerusalem. For the first time after 2000 years, Jerusalem was no longer under the foot of the Gentiles.
Jesus prophesied that this would happen.

Number 50 years from 1967 and you have this year 2017.
Something powerful and good is going to happen this year!!
But please don't think that this year is going to be free from troubles and personal challenges.
A good visual example would be 1967:
Why was the Six Day War fought? Because Israel was hemmed in by her enemies.
Maybe some of you are already hemmed in by a physical condition, and it seems that you're surrounded by sickness, family problems or other troubles.
This hemming and attack in happened in the year of Jubilee of 1967.
We all see the victory, but do you see the difficulty?
But if you're in a difficulty right now, get ready!
When God fought for Israel, in six days the war ended and on the seventh day, Jerusalem was theirs after 2000 years!

There's no parallel to this in war history except for one: Joshua and the Walls of Jericho.
God told the children of Israel to surround the walls of Jericho for seven days without talking, only blowing the trumpet, and on the seventh day, the walls fell after they shouted.
God is repeating history in 1967 - Six Day War and on the seventh day, it was theirs!
Maybe your troubles right now are like a huge formidable wall like the walls of Jericho -
You can choose to ram the wall, using human effort, but God's way is better - blow the trumpet.
The Jubilee is brought in by the blowing of the trumpet. The trumpet is freedom.
Jubilee is on the Day of Atonement. The moment the sin offering is offered, the trumpet is sounded.
When Jesus gave up the ghost on the cross, the trumpet was sounded.

On the year of Jubilee, every debt is cancelled and every slave is set free.
God was thinking more than physical slaves.
Many people are in bondage: to drugs, to unclean habits, to medication, to depression, to fears, etc.
Even people who say that they are freethinkers are not free to think. Their minds are not free.
They think of lustful thoughts and they can't even stop themselves.
They are in bondage to obsession with certain dark thoughts and no one can get into that fortress: it's depression.
The Bible says that when the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed!

Of all the people, believers are the FREE-est!

Leviticus 25:8-10 - Jubilee means freedom. Jubilee means every debt is cancelled. All land will be restored to its original owners. You will return to your possessions (for example: Maybe you lost your health. You will return to perfect health). Each one will return to family (for example: an absentee father/husband who is not present will return to his family). God is going to do something with family life. It's going to be a year of restoration as well because that's what the Jubilee is all about. Jubilee is the rest of all rests. It is the great Sabbath of all sabbaths.

Galatians 5:1 - The free-est people on earth are those whom Christ has redeemed.
Some people who have been set free, when they step out of the filth, muskiness, darkness of their prison, they choose to step back into that darkness.
Why? They are accustomed to and comfortable with their darkness and bondage.
Step out of the darkness. There's a new world out there, and God's world is bigger!

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” ‭‭(Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

How did the children of Israel conquer Jericho?
God said no one talks. Just blow the trumpets. Go around the walls of Jericho.
On the seventh day, go around the walls seven times.
Then when they blew the trumpet, God said shout and when they shouted, the walls fell flat.
At Jericho today, you can still see the remnants of the fallen walls today.
Experts have traced the walls by carbon dating and have traced it back to the time of Joshua.
Your bondage won't come down by human intelligence (wonderful as it is, it's still limited) or by human effort.
It's too puny to come against the bondage.
Your bondage will come down by the almighty hand of God.

Genesis 6:8-9 - 7 is the number of perfection and completion.
The 5th time Noah's name was mentioned, the Bible says "Noah found grace" - 5 is the number of grace.
When Noah's name was mentioned the 7th time, it says this: "Noah was perfect in his generation".
7 is tied with perfection.

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.” (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The Jubilee that God talked about is a visual aid.
Israel never observed their seventh year of rest for the land.
That's why when Israel was brought into captivity in Babylon, the reason given was that so that the land could rest.
Because they didn't let the land rest in all the years that Israel was there.
70 years they were held captive in Babylon. 70 is a multiple of 7. So every 7 years, the land will rest.

Our bodies are made from the dust. Our spirits are breathed by God.
God said let the land rest. It's deeper than the land - God is talking about our bodies needing to rest.
We need to rest if not we will have to pay for the rest debt (example: resting for a long time in a hospital bed).

Luke 4:16-21 - Eventually Israel in Jesus' time lost track of when Jubilee was.
When Jesus went back to His hometown of Nazareth, He read this portion of Scripture from the book of Isaiah at the synagogue.
Jesus' ministry started in the year of Jubilee.
"Acceptable year of the Lord" in Greek is "Dektos" which Thayer a Greek scholar says that it means: "denote that most blessed time when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound."
The free favors of God will profusely abound in your life and in your family this year!!

“So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:16-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 61:1 - The words "proclaim liberty" here is the exact same Hebrew word for "Jubilee".
No matter what you are bound by, Jesus has come to proclaim freedom to you!

““The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭61:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When it comes to the things of God, come to Him as a little child, come trusting Him, and He will reveal to you things that the peanut human brain cannot understand.

Israel was first introduced to Moses and the Law.
But Israel kept on failing and failing all the time.
Then before Jesus came, God sent a messenger: John the Baptist.
John the Baptist's ministry was a ministry of baptism upon repentance.
Repentance was for people who could not keep the Law, the people who failed.
The Law had proven the people guilty. So the people came to say sorry and to repent.
But only a tiny bit of people came to be baptised by John.
Then Jesus came as the Witness of God's grace.
He came with no demands and He came to freely-give.
Jesus was so full of the blessings of God - If you are blind, take your sight. If you are bound, take your freedom. If you are bound, take your healing.
There were no demands that Jesus placed on people.
You don't have to get this or that right first - take God's blessing and you'll be made right.
That's the ministry of grace - it's all supply, no demand.

Pastor Prince hates sin. Sin is destructive and brings untold damages, causes broken lives and children never growing up to be the same.
When Jesus came, He healed, He set free, He raised the dead.
He did everything with no demands. He gave everything freely.
If you come to Him, you get it.
It seems as if He was not marking their sin.
It seems as if He was not imputing their sins when He healed them, as if He was ignoring it.
Does Jesus know something that we don't?
Maybe if people receive God's goodness, it's the goodness of God that will lead them to repentance.

John 1:17 - We are busying ourselves with balancing the grace message that all of a sudden it is toppled.
There is no balance to grace. Grace is the truth that sets you free.
Grace and truth are on the same side. They are one.
Law is on the other side.
There is no balancing with Law and grace & truth.
When Jesus came, He came to say "Come, the Spirit of God is on Me. Come take what you need!"
Have we forgotten Jesus' ministry? Are we still obsessed with repentance? Are we still obsessed with the Law?

“For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (‭‭John‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

7 is the number of rest. 5777 is this year in the Hebrew calendar.
Something significant is going to happen this year!

We'll be out of here (through the Rapture) before the 7 years tribulation.

God cannot force salvation into anyone's life, unless they receive it. Neither can He force
Jubilee into your life and circumstances unless you receive it.

Pastor Prince shares three keys to help you receive Jubilee into your life and circumstances:

Leviticus 23:26-32 - Notice that Jubilee is on the 50th Day of Atonement.
Key #1 : Rest. Don't work.
It's in the spiritual sense - examples: you don't have to work to get your family back together.
You don't have to work towards getting your rebellious child back home.
You don't have to work to get your health back.
You are saying that this battle is the Lord's. it's not mine.
Don't strive for it, don't stress over it, don't be anxious over it.
Say, "Lord, this is Your battle. I've been set free from anxiousness."
You can't change your body positively by worrying.
The devil will shout at you saying "What are you going to do about this??"
Just reply "The battle is the Lord's. God's hand is much bigger than mine. If He doesn't do anything, what can I do?"
Under the Law, the Lord would destroy the one who worked on the Day of Atonement.
That's the manner of seriousness that God looks upon this - He had to force the children of Israel to rest!
"You shall afflict your souls" - For us to rest, our souls suffer.
We're so used to getting things done. In fact our very anxiousness is making things worse, and it's an affliction.
Jesus is so full of rest.

“And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD your God. For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people. And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath.”” (‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭23:26-32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

So if you don't work, what can you do?
What did the children of Israel do around the walls of Jericho?
They said nothing, but they listened to the blowing of the ram's horn -
The proclamation of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.
How do they get the ram's horn? The ram is killed and they take the horn.
That's our guarantee of freedom, healing, provision, and of protection.
The blowing of the ram's horn is a visual aid of preaching.
Key #2 : Listen to the messages about Jesus, about the cross, and about the finished work.
Don't listen to preaching that people are blowing through horns made of brass.
Brass is a picture of judgement.
Hear the ram's horn: preaching about liberty - the cross is the power of God and wisdom of God.
Sometimes the power of God takes you out of a difficult situation.
Sometimes God allows you to stay, but the wisdom of God will allow you to triumph in that situation, and many will see that your God is a wonderful God!

Galatians 3:5 - In the Greek, the words "supplies" and "works" are in the continuous tense, which means that God keeps on supplying the Spirit to you and keeps on working miracles among you.
Does God do it because you observe the Law and you have it all together, and now you think you deserve it from God? No.
Keep hearing the ram's horn.
The more you hear, the more God supplies the Spirit and the more God works miracles.

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—”‭‭ (Galatians‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NKJV)

Acts 14:8-10 - The word "heard" is in the imperfect tense which means that the man kept on hearing Paul preach.
He was crippled, which means that he must have kept asking to be carried to where Paul was preaching.
At that time they didn't have iPod or MP3 players. What's our excuse?
We should be listening to the ram's horn being proclaimed all the time.
When we repeatedly rest and listen this year, eventually one day, we will leap out of our difficult situation. We will walk and be normal.

“And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.” (‭‭Acts‬ ‭14:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

It's okay to watch your favorite TV shows but it doesn't help you! Why are you losing sleep over that?
There can be a time to watch, but it can also become a bondage.
At the end of the day, the guys in the show are going home to a big, fat bank account, but you are still left stuck with the same problem.
Listen to God's word.

Genesis 4:21 - The third key was given from the Hebrew word for Jubilee which is "Yovel".
The etymology is from the name Jubal. Jubal was the great-grandson of Adam and Eve. His name means "a flow".
Key #3 : Flow with the Spirit.
Follow the Spirit and His leading.
The Spirit will never tell you to divorce your husband or wife.
The Spirit will never tell you to flirt with another man or woman who is not your spouse.
He will never tell you to con people or tell lies.
This is because He is the Spirit of God.
Sometimes the flow will not be an instantaneous kind of thing.
The area that God has for you will grow and grow and grow.
The area that God doesn't want you to go into will shrink and shrink. It's as if the peace is no longer there.

“His brother’s name was Jubal. He was the father of all those who play the harp and flute.” (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Hebrews 4:9-12 - The word "quick" here means living and to bring/make alive!
God's word is greater than laser - it cuts every way.
We have a soul - our mind, will and emotions.
The challenge of us Christians is we have difficulty knowing whether a thought is from us or is from God.
If you are listening to the word of God being preached, it has an effect where it separates that which is indivisible: soul and spirit.
You will know what is from God and what is from you.
The word of God can separate the joints and the marrow. It has a physical effect.
God's word can touch and penetrate those areas where doctors and surgeons don't even dare. It can affect your body!
Reading the word of God can bring your body physical rest and relaxation as well.

“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:9-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

Follow the three keys: Rest, Listen, and Flow with the Spirit and you will experience Jubilee this year!

God wants you to be like the Temple of God this year:
The Temple has three parts. Just like you.
The Outer Court (Body), the Holy Place (Soul), the Holy of Holies (Spirit).
The Outer court is busy busy busy. It's ok to be busy.
In the Holy Place, it gets quieter in your mind.
But in the Holy of Holies there is no activity. There is nothing but perfect peace. Shalom.
That's where God dwells.
That is the generator. The source of all power and the place where all your prosperous actions come out from.
God wants you to be a man or woman like that this year.

Jubilee is a visual aid. The substance and fulfillment of Jubilee is Jesus.
Jubilee is where Jesus is.

When you are completely absorbed in Jesus, your life will surely be transformed.

1940 Cultural Revolution in China - persecution of Christians in China.
China received a word from the Holy Spirit in that time that this generation would bring the pure gospel back to Jerusalem.

Israel already knows the Law. If you tell them about the Law, they will say "I already know and have the Law!".
But if you preach grace to Israel, they will receive the Lord Jesus Christ.

The woman by the well in Samaria who had a shameful past and lifestyle had an encounter with Jesus and she became a bold evangelist for God!
When we become conscious of Jesus, we are not conscious about ourselves.

Condemnation is the nutrient that helps sin to grow bigger and bigger.

Romans 4:25 - We are not just forgiven of our sins, we are also justified before God!
Jesus was delivered up because of our offenses!

“who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” (‭Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Romans 10:10 - Your mouth will surely speak when faith arises in your heart.

“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬


Transformation doesn't come by trying to change yourself.
The more you try to change yourself and suppress the evil desires, the more you will struggle.
Transformation comes when you behold Christ.

Grace makes us become real. You won't be ashamed of yourself because we are not ashamed of the gospel.
We will boast of our weaknesses so that God's power will rest upon us.

All transformation comes when we know that we are forgiven.

Don't worry about your children. The Bible says that the seed of the righteous are blessed and will be delivered.
God the Father affirmed Jesus twice: once at the River Jordan (at the lowest point of the surface of the earth) before Jesus even performed any miracles or works, and once on Mount Hermon (at the highest point).
Affirm your child at all times, whether at the high points or the lowest points in their lives.

It's not our performance, it's who we are in Jesus that matters.
Our children need to know that we love them for who they are, not just when they perform well.

Grace gives us moral excellence and good character.

Sometimes the legalistic tendencies in us arises when we face challenges.

You will hear the Lord speaking to you clearly when you are not sin-conscious but Christ-conscious.

Don't worry about your children. The Bible says that the seed of the righteous are blessed and will be delivered. We are not pursuing prosperity but we are pursuing Jesus!

When Peter obeyed Jesus, we hauled up a huge catch of fish. He wasn't pursuing the fish, he was pursuing Jesus!
Joseph and Mary were poor. They could only offer doves at the temple.
But when Jesus was born, the wise men sought Jesus and brought gold, frankincense and myrrh to them.
When the children of Israel partook of the Passover lamb (which represents Jesus), they came out of Egypt wealthy and healthy!

He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes.” ‭(‭Psalms‬ ‭105:37‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

We read the Bible to discover our Lord, not to earn His blessings.
We must look for the Blesser, not for the blessings.

Rest does not mean inactivity. Rest means resting in God's love for you and that God is fighting your battles for you.

When Peter recognized that it was Jesus, he jumped into the sea and swam towards Jesus, and Peter's partner pulled the catch of fishes onto the shore - Peter didn't have to do it - the blessings followed him!
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things that we need will be added to us.
Jesus became poor to make us blessed.

Even when you have made mistakes, God is still for you.

Genesis 32:10-12 - Despite your fear, pray! Remember and hold onto God's promises for your life!
Don't focus on your hurt, you will get bitter. Focus on Jesus!

“I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which You have shown Your servant; for I crossed over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies. Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and attack me and the mother with the children. For You said, ‘I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.’ ”” (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭32:10-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Genesis 31:6-7 - Your God is bigger than your problems!
Jacob had a good opinion of God.
God is watching over you.
The "but" in the verse represents a change of mind.
Instead of using "but" as an excuse as to justify why it cannot happen, you can use "but" as a reason why it can happen for your good because God is for you!

“And you know that with all my might I have served your father. Yet your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me.” ‭(‭Genesis‬ ‭31:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Genesis 50:20 - Joseph said "but" to declare that God is with him.

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 60:2- - The prophet Isaiah said "but" to declare that God is with us. 

“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

John 16:33 - Jesus said "but" to encourage us that He has already won the victory for us.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” ‭(‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Jubilee - 禧年 : 17 strokes in the word. 17 is the number of Victory!
The word 禧 is made up of two parts which mean "God" and "joy".
This year, be full of the joy of the Lord! We have the victory!

Hebrews 12:2 - God is seated and rested, and He wants us to rest too.

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Genesis 8:4 - The Ark represents Jesus. Jesus has rested.
The seventeenth day of the seventh month is the day that Jesus was resurrected.
Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we can assuredly rest.
The curse was reversed on the mountains of Ararat.

“Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.” ‭(‭Genesis‬ ‭8:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The blessing of Abraham is that we are the righteousness of God in Christ.

22 January 2017 - The Secret of Hearing that Brings Untold Blessings (9 Jan 2011) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

Man has an inclination towards the negative side.
Just one negative remark can upset our day.
We have to learn how to focus on things that are good and positive, especially on the gospel.
We have a good news gospel!

Everything we receive from God is through faith.
If you don't receive it through faith, even if it comes on you, it will leave.
We are healed by faith, and saved by faith.

Don't concentrate on fighting the devil. Focus on faith.
When you are in faith, the devil is defeated - your fight is to fight the good fight of faith - fight to remain in faith.
Faith has got to do with Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of Faith - He writes it and completes it.

Romans 10:17 - How does faith come? It is not by preaching the Ten Commandments.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
Stay in faith to be positioned under the spout where the glory comes out.
Faith doesn't come by having heard once. It comes by repeated hearing and hearing.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Romans 10:14-17 - It is not the norm for God to speak to you directly.
That's not what is meant by "faith comes by hearing".
What it means is hearing from a preacher.
You must bring out Jesus from the word of God (from Genesis to Revelation) for it to produce faith.
The Ten Commandments is also the word of God, but faith doesn't come from hearing that.
Faith comes from hearing the gospel of peace being preached.
Listen always to the gospel of peace and glad tidings of good things.

“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “ LORD, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:14-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When the Corinthian believers were going to the temple prostitutes, how did Paul handle it?
Paul did not bring in the Ten Commandments.
Paul said "Don't you know your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit?"
Whenever strife, sin and immorality happened in the church, Paul always reminded the believers "Don't you know?"
Paul reminded the believers of who they were in Christ.
It's easier to give the Law than to give revelation - it takes the Holy Spirit to give revelation.

Psalm 65:11 - In the verse, "Goodness" in Hebrew is "tov" and "Abundance" in Hebrew is "deshen".

“You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭65:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Isaiah 55:2-3 - Another place in the Bible where "tov" and "deshen" appear together.
In the verse, "good" is "tov" and "abundance" is "deshen".

"Listen carefully" is "shema shema" in Hebrew.
The Hebrew word "shema" which means "to listen" doubled twice is the key to receiving God's blessings.
We need to have a listening heart just like King Solomon. Our hearts have ears. 

“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David.” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:2-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Psalm 103:5 - When your soul is satisfied, your youth will be renewed physically just like how the eagle's renewal is literal.

“Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭103:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Exodus 15:26 - "Diligently heed" is "shema shema".
This is the first mention in the Bible of "shema shema".
The first "shema shema" blessing is healing.
We don't have to keep all of God's statutes today because Jesus already did it on our behalf and set it to our account.
The "If" condition has been fulfilled by Jesus.
All that's left for us today is to listen and listen.
The woman with the issue of blood broke many of God's commandments and laws (an unclean woman is not supposed to appear in public), yet Jesus healed her.
This is the first revelation in the Bible that God reveals Himself as "Jehovah Rapha", the God who heals.

“and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”” ‭‭(Exodus‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 5:15 - Faith is a response to God's goodness.
If you need healing, you need to be hearing God's word, not just receiving prayer without hearing first.

“However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Psalm 63:6 - King David had insomnia. He turned it to a blessing by meditating on God's word in the nighttime.
You can hear from a preacher or you can be the preacher to yourself too by meditating on God's word!
To meditate means to mutter God's word.

“When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” ‭(Psalms‬ ‭63:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Luke 6:17-19 - All who came to hear Jesus preach were healed!
Faith means believing that God is good. Human nature tends to distrust God.
It's sad, but as humans we need to be reminded always that God is good.
Your first response in a crisis is important - it reveals who you are -
are you immediately plagued with worry and fear, or do you stay in faith?

If your first response is fear and worry, then you need to keep hearing and hearing the word of God.

“And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.” ‭(‭Luke‬ ‭6:17-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Acts 14:7-10 - Paul and Barnabbas were preaching the gospel in Lystra - not the Law, but the good news!
The word "preaching" in the verse is in the imperfect tense - it means that is was a repeated and continued action.
They kept on preaching the gospel.
The word "heard" in "heard Paul speaking" is in the imperfect tense as well.
The crippled man kept on hearing and hearing Paul preach.
Out of all the multitudes, the crippled man was the only one mentioned and called out for having faith.
Why? Because he kept on hearing and hearing. It wasn't that he heard for a few minutes only.
He probably followed Paul from city to city to keep on hearing Paul preach.

The crippled man disobeyed Paul - he didn't just stand up, he leaped and walked too!

“And they were preaching the gospel there. And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.” (‭‭Acts‬ ‭14:7-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Deuteronomy 11:13-14 - "Earnestly obey" in Hebrew is "Shema Shema".

“‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Deuteronomy 11:21 - The second "shema shema" blessing is days of heaven on earth for your family - days filled with joy, peace and love.
The next best thing you can receive after salvation is good health, then followed by blessed family life. 
Sickness is a burden to your family. You must have good health to be able to enjoy your family.

“that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Deuteronomy 15:5-6 - "Carefully obey" in Hebrew is "shema shema". The third "shema shema" blessing is prosperity.
Those who lend reign over those who borrow.

“only if you carefully obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe with care all these commandments which I command you today. For the LORD your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭15:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Deuteronomy 28:1-3 - "Diligently obey" in Hebrew is "shema shema". The fourth "Shema shema" blessing is that all of God's blessings will come upon you and overtake you!

““Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬)

The crippled man kept on hearing and hearing Paul preach. Out of all the multitudes, the crippled man was the only one mentioned and called out for having faith. Why? Because he kept on hearing and hearing. It wasn't that he heard for a few minutes only. He probably followed Paul from city to city to keep on hearing Paul preach. The crippled man disobeyed Paul - he didn't just stand up, he leaped and walked too!

James 1:23-25 - Some preachers say "Be doers of the word and not just hearing".
That robs people of the desire to keep hearing God's word.
The "mirror" mentioned in the verse is referring to the word of God. 
People who keep hearing and hearing the word of God will naturally become doers of the word.
What the verse is saying is don't be a one-time hearer. Keep on hearing and hearing.
The "perfect law of liberty" is not talking about the Ten Commandments, but the Gospel of peace.

“For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” (‭‭James‬ ‭1:23-25‬ ‭NKJV‬)

Galatians 3:2-5 - We receive God's blessings not by our performance but by the hearing of faith.

“This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—” ‭‭(Galatians‬ ‭3:2-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Hebrews 4:2 - The children of Israel heard the good news that they would possess a land flowing with milk and honey and that they would be living in houses that they did not build, and own vineyards that they did not plant, but they didn't believe the good news.

“For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When you feel empty and lousy are the days where you end up indulging in sin.
Keep on listening in God's word to be filled with nourishment and faith.

John 7:37-38 - Jesus did not say take water from Him for others to drink. He said "let him come to Me and drink" - drink directly from Jesus.
If you drink from Jesus, out of your belly will flow rivers of living waters resulting in others being blessed as well.


“On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”” (‭‭John‬ ‭7:37-38‬ ‭NKJV‬)
